this was a really similar setup to my uni house when i was feeling my most desolate with hotel-art on the walls and sparse ikea furniture and the uncertainty of what my life would look like. i remember watching this video before i set up my own tree at Christmas and realizing i needed to make it an event with my best friend. so i brought him over to put baubles on this TEENY TINY tree and we played an album and messed around putting tinsel on every surface. i think its so important to have these kinds of videos with realistic goals and expectations because it showed me how fucking important it was just to fuck around with friends. i don't think you guys 'cured my depression' but i really think you prompted me to bring warmth into my life during a hard time and im really grateful for that. thanks x
