The book that defined a generation of right wing racist violence, traces of The Turner Diaries (first published in 1978) can still be found shot through today’s white supremacist circles. Julian Feeld and Jon Gabrus explore William Luther Pierce’s psychotic, genocidal work of speculative fiction.

This one’s going to be a real page turner

Well, that was quite the wretched slog. Maybe not as bad as actually reading the book, but, hoo boy, still pretty damn rough. But you can't be done with right wing influence until you tackle the book that is the favorite of White House deputy chief of staff for policy and national security Stephen Miller, that 1973 French classic by Jean Raspail, The Camp of the Saints, a truly vile and grim anti-immigration screed disguised as a dystopian piece of science fiction.

Bro, this was hands down the toughest episode to listen to so far IMHO. The speculative apocalypse in this book is so relentlessly viciously antisemitic and racist. As painfully cruel as it is, we can’t look away, we have to look closer. So most definitely, the whole Super Structure crew deserves hazard pay for the toxic exposure to bring us this closer look lol

I’ve heard this book referred to so many times without knowing anything about it. Definitely a valuable episode.

You obviously never had a live journal/diaryland if you didn't know folks absolutely write their diaries assuming folks are reading. Actually, that makes a lot of sense thinking about it... Bless you Grace and Spencer.

John Brandkamp

Honestly, I'm shocked that this trash tome wasn't 420 chapters long...

A little Bill Hicks clip at 46:57 ?

Karl Childers

trying to follow the hyperracist logic here, it's kind of funny that he refers to black people hunting & eating white people as "cannibalism" -- dude do you think we're separate races or not?

Ben Israelson

Sounded to me like Nick Mullen, but I’m not sure

The turner diaries and the new movie citizen vigilante are the exact same story about the same anxieties
