Excited for this series. I have more hours than I'd care to admit in ONI so it is fascinating watching a brand new player of the game. A couple of non backseat things: if you look at a task you put down (like build or dig) and the icon/outline is gray, then nobody can reach it to perform that task, when they can it is white. You don't need to mark to dig out space before putting down a ladder, if you place a building over something that needs digging they'll dig it before they build (but it won't show up if nobody can dig at something because they lack the skill) And one very small backseat thing: Build rooms, your dupes will thank you (Also I wanted to let you know that when I typed digging, I actually typed dogging by mistake, it made me giggle)

I think without tips this series won't last too long. In the first run things usually take longer than they need to and the game starts to get boring because you get nothing done. So maybe opening a tips channel would be helpful

I'm a little scared that only doing 1 run will be very hard to understand what's happening. Things tend to spiral out of control from just 1 or 2 mistakes, and when you're new it's easy to miss the warning signs.

I understand the decision to only do one run, but I feel confident people will want you to return at some point later, as others have said one or two early mistakes can ruin you but you'll know what to do better next time. Many players do that a dozen times before they get a long-term colony. I wouldn't even want you to play to a "victory" as that would be VERY VERY time consuming for you, but just a more long-term colony I don't mind just one series for now but I really hope you'll be willing to put this back on the vote in a couple months at least! I suppose how I really feel about this is that it is a little bittersweet because I want to see you play it but I also know the whole time watching that you're more doomed than you know and that's not your fault haha Either way, happy to see the series anyway!

wanted to save all series episodes to binge at once but i cant want any longer+oxygen not included steam sale ends in 12 hours so tyler is the whole reason i might buy the game if i like it from the three vids he already pit out rn. btw love your content tyler and keep going legend!
