The amount of times I have fumbled a great clone is just sad at this point.

I wanted to give some information about the game. The game mechanics are very realistic. If you think some information about game mechanics is a spoiler, please do not read the rest but they are not design ideas they are just game mechanics :D The gasses flow from high-pressure to low-pressure points, so even if you open the vacuum place, it would not be a problem. the gasses would flow and fill that vacuum when you open it. Each gas has different densities. CO2 is heavier than O2. This means that all CO2 will try to go down while O2 will try to go up. If you create your base at the bottom and expand up without any blocking mechanism (airlocks, pneumatic doors, etc.), then all CO2 will build up in your main base and your duplicants will suffocate. Check room requirements. If you fulfill those requirements for rooms they give morale to the duplicants. Each room also has to be closed. For example, Mess Hall requires at least 1 mess table, a minimum of 12 closed spaces, and gives 3 morale. Great Hall requires at least 1 mess table, a minimum of 32 spaces, and 20 decor values and gives 6 morale. While giving duplicants new skills be careful because if they have more skills than their morale, they will become stressed slowly. You can see this in their skill tree like 2/1 means they have 2 morale and their skills require at least 1 morale. Each duplicant reacts differently to stress. When the stress levels reach 100, some start to vomit and make everywhere wet. Some become violent and start breaking stuff in the base. Some will eat more. It feels like oxygen is super easy in the first days of the game. Don't be fooled. The game gives some oxylite which are tiles that emit oxygen for some time so that you can develop your base and create your oxygen source. Temperature is mostly intuitive. If you have a heat source, it will heat its surroundings slowly. However, the temperature is dependent on the material. Some material has high heat capacity, so they can suck more heat without increasing their temperature much. Some material has poor insulation and transfers their internal temperature to their surroundings easier. The only thing that feels weird is that if the machine is operating in a vacuum, it will heat up super quickly. (i.e. vacuum has 0 heat capacity) Suffocating duplicants are okay as long as they have a path to oxygen. They can hold their breaths, do some work and go to the oxygen when they start to suffocate. (going to breathe and returning to do work is inefficient but okay) However, be careful if they do not have a way to get to the oxygen, they will die. Be careful about the duplicant schedules. They will not eat, or go to the bathroom unless it is extremely urgent or it is their free time. If you have 5 duplicants, only 1 bathroom and they all have the same free time, they will queue for the bathroom in their free time. If their bladder is full for some reason (maybe they could not use the bathroom in their free time) and there are no available bathrooms (maybe you only have 1 and it is occupied), they will pee themselves and make a mess. Another problem could be with sleeping. For example, If they are too far away from their beds when it is time to sleep, they will fall asleep on the floor even though they are assigned to a bed. The second one becomes a problem when the base becomes too big and they travel a lot.

This is why I decided I wanted to play at the same time. Now I finally know why all my duplicants seem to always want to pee everywhere

loving the series so far! hope this episode is another banger!

He didn't get zombie spores. That tab just shows the current risk of infection if they get exposed to certain germs. If Richard breathes in even a single zombie spore germ, he'll have a 73% chance of getting sick with zombie-ism within the day.

It's great watching you play. I've played this game for so long, familiarized myself with all its systems so much, that I don't get the joy of discovery anymore, so it's fun watching you get to have it. I wanna give advice, but I also want to watch you discover things on your own, so I'm a little bit torn though. Maybe just one thing: you don't have to queue up each research item one by one. You can select one that's further along the tree, and your duplicants will automatically research everything that's needed to get up to that level first.

I am SO glad you enjoyed the game here. I have not had a PC to play this on for a long while. This game is inspirational for an HR student. Every time the duplicate management bars come up I'm like "OOOH" because I missed those mechanics when i was younger.
