This is a working slice of Jangale: one city, Dartmoor, with the engines running. You create a character and step into a place that reacts to you, rolls against your actual skills, and carries consequences forward.

What's running in this demo

Three of Jangale's systems are live here, so you can feel what the world actually does rather than just read about it:

Character creation (Origin). Choose who you are and drop into Dartmoor as a creature subject to the world's rules, not a player immune to them. Power is earned. The ecology applies to you.

The probability engine. The system reads what you actually attempt — the verbs, the weapon, the situation — and weighs it against your character's real skills to decide what happens. No god-mode. A blade you can't use fails like a blade you can't use.

Living time and weather (Journal). Time passes with logistical weight, and Dartmoor's weather turns on its own. The world keeps moving whether or not you act.

Dartmoor itself

A full city with its own residents: a guard captain who is the closest thing to law, a warlock nobody crosses, a healer, a forge, a tea house with a director who is more than she appears, and others who each want something. Ask who lives here and the world tells you. They act on their own appetites whether you engage them or not.

This is a slice, not the whole world.

The full version of Jangale has nine regions, 180+ named characters with full psychological architecture, and a suite of systems this demo only hints at: NPCs with tracked inner lives that remember and scheme, a dynamic encounter engine that fills the world with unpredictable events, self-managed world arcs that change the political texture of every region they touch, transformation and effect systems, and emergent dynamics between characters generated automatically when they share a scene.

This demo is a taste, the full version is the feast.

Requires an explicit-capable model and a dark-fantasy-oriented system prompt. It will not perform correctly on censored models. Use the included System Prompt, Prefill, Memory, and Author's Note for best results.
