Pyrrha slowly blinked as she awoke. Despite the pangs and needles of numbness that came with it she found herself a little disappointed when she realized Corvo wasn’t fast asleep, her arm used as a pillow, or, clingy as he was in his sleep, the entirety of his body wrapped around hers. The occasional too warm embrace could wake her up throughout the night but she enjoyed just being able to lie around cuddling with him that it never bothered her as long as she went right back to sleep.
As she rose up, covers partially falling away, and looked around the dark room, she found that she wasn’t the one lucky enough to enjoy his sleeping habits.
Corvo and Ruby were both sound asleep on that sofa across the room. Another thing they shared was that clinginess by the look of things, their arms and legs entangled, Ruby curled into him, and their scrolls and headphones on the floor or dangling off the edge of the sofa.
It was a little odd to see siblings sleeping like that but the two looked so cute together.
And it was partially her fault.
She’d only come by last night intending to spend some time with Corvo before heading back to her own room, but, as she obviously should’ve expected, Ruby had planned to do the same. All three of them spent the night hanging out instead, a lot of the time spent speculating over what was to come.
She’d eventually fallen out of the conversation, instead watching the two
Hit the right subjects and Corvo was excitable all on his own. She was confident in assuming the same went for Ruby. Together the two were like a feedback loop for all that energy once they got going, able to gush over one thing only to completely change the subject on a dime, sometimes without even finishing their thoughts, yet perfectly keeping up with the other’s rambling.
At first, she was feeling bad about possibly making Ruby a third wheel to their time here at Beacon but she was getting the feeling that she was going to end up the third wheel, having fallen asleep at some point during all that.
Corvo must’ve been the one to take her to the bed.
Fully standing on the cold floor, she stretched.
Initiation would be first thing in the morning so her usual early morning workout was out of the question but a little jog to warm herself up would have to do. She would’ve tried to see if Corvo wanted to join but she’d leave them be.
Gathering up the few things she brought with her, Pyrrha quietly made her way out of the darkened room and into the lit up halls of the dorm, the door automatically locking itself behind her, his room card needed to get back in.
The same click and beep of the card reader came from across the hall.
A young woman, with long black hair top by a cute dark bow, stood across from Pyrrha. Her yellow eyes, the faint markings of bags just beneath them, met hers and recognition sparked through them. Thankfully, all that resulted in was a quiet nod, the quiet click of the woman’s heels filling the air as she took off.
Pyrrha smiled as she took off herself.
Corvo and his sisters were already plenty compared to having no friends but maybe, even if she ended up being recognized by others, there would be plenty of people who didn’t think twice about who she was.
She still didn’t believe it but it felt less stupid to have hoped for things to change here at Beacon.

Arms wrapped around her. Chin on her head. Legs intertwined with hers.
Ruby shifted, cracking open her eyes as she yawned. Corvo, waking up at the same time, yawned right after her, shifting slightly. Moving her arms, she fully wrapped them around him and pulled herself closer as she turned her head, the steady beat of his heart filling her ears.
Yang always said they should grow out of stuff like this, saying stupid things like they were too old to be sleeping together or it would make it harder to find and keep a boyfriend since they’d get the wrong idea. Why would there suddenly be a cut off point to sleep with her own brother? And its not like the whole boyfriend thing mattered to her. She had Corvo, Cresent Rose, and whole world of Grimm to hunt and people to save. She didn’t care about getting some boyfriend or what someone who didn’t exist thought.
“Um, Ruby, you might want to-“ As she shifted to get a look at him, whatever Corvo was saying stopped. At the same time something hard poked against her thigh.
When they were younger and it first happened, she found it weird only to never pay it much attention after Corvo told her what morning wood was. It was just something that happened, nothing to bother thinking about when they could be doing a bunch of other things.
But he had a girlfriend now. No, girlfriends that knew about each other and were just fine dating him despite that. One of them was somehow the Pyrrha Nikos who was in the room with them. And Mom and Yang both said he was sleeping with that other girl which meant-which meant-
Wait. Is that why Pyrrha came in here!? The realization screeched itself into Ruby’s mind, things she never even considered suddenly popping into mind, finally understanding what might’ve happened if she wasn’t around.
She tightened the hug.

By the time it all passed and some measure of thought was returning to him, all he could hear were both their breaths. Ruby’s hold on him loosened up her head shifting as she pulled back, beat red face, revealing what he tried to deny.
All of that hadn’t been some unconscious mistake.
“I’m sorry! I shouldn’t-we- that-“ Ruby immediately started scrambling for some kind of excuse while pulling back, panic fully setting now that whatever got her to do what she did had passed.
“Ruby, its okay. Well, its not okay.” Corvo quickly shut himself up, keeping a firm grip on her so she couldn’t just use her semblance and run away. “This, well-“ What was he supposed to say about this? He couldn’t go throwing blame when stopping her wouldn’t have taken anything more than a push from him.
At least Pyrrha had left before all this, the room’s bed empty. She and Neo, the latter the most cherry about it, had straight up given him permission to pursue other women. He honestly hadn’t expected it to be relevant during his time at Beacon or at any point in his life really, just fine with the two of them.
But even if that wasn’t a problem, this was his freaking sister. How was he supposed to explain this to anyone?
“Y-You’re not mad?” Ruby asked, her voice still shaky.
“No.” Being hit hard by post-nut clarity? 100%. But how could he be angry when he’d just let it happen? “But we…we shouldn’t do anything like this again.”
“Ye-Yeah.” Ruby quickly agreed. “Y-You’re not going to tell mom or Yang, are you? I-I’ll take the blame if you do. I-“
“We-“ Corvo emphasized. “-aren’t telling anyone anything. We just…pretend like it never happened. We won’t even have to lie since no one will ever ask about it.”
“Right, never happened. We didn’t do anything.” She repeated, muttering a small tangent to herself.
Releasing each other, the two, for the first time in their entire lives, awkwardly moved away from the other, an unsure silence taking over. At least until a ticking clock up in the corner of the room drew Corvo’s eye.
“You should get cleaned up while I clean up here. We still have initiation.”
“Right!” She didn’t need to be told twice, a gust of wind pushing aside his air as she shot towards the room’s bathroom as a swirl of roses.
He released a sigh.
What is wrong with me?

Breaths picked up, she brought it closer.
A faintly sweet tasted filled her mouth as she licked at the thick substance. Again there was something about it that she just couldn’t put into words but she found herself only more drawn to it.
By the time all signs of it was gone from her clothes and hands, she hadn’t washed anything down the drain, the sweet taste still on her tongue as she swallowed the rest and a strange hot ache resting between her legs, forcing her to rub them together to try and get rid of it.
What is wrong with me? Ruby thought, looking at her red flustered face in the mirror.

(A/N: TOS hitting hard here people. I'll always be sure to let you know when these kinds of chapters hit WN so you can go back and see the full thing there but you should be able to guess a little at what happened and follow the plotline.)
