Alright, cheesecakes! I've gone ahead and released a bonus update for this weekend. There's been no progress on the Nozomi reversal path as I hoped, but there's still some interesting things to show here that may be of interest to some of you.

First, I had the whim to add a second ending to Sayori's route. It's a minor addition and things probably end there as you'd expect. Still, it's another item to cross off the list of things that needed doing~

The main feature of this update, though, comes at the beginning of the entire story. See, there's been a quite significant rewrite focusing on Kyou's motivations and behaviour with the intention of it matching up better with the later stages of the story. Mostly I've played down some of the outright sociopathy of his early narration and played up his awkwardness and sense of delusion. Hopefully I've succeeded in making the overall narrative more coherent for the most part, although I suspect there's still plenty of wonkiness. As always, I'll appreciate any feedback!

So that really is it for this month. For next time, I'm intending to add another CG or two to the game along with more incremental story updates. With the holidays coming up I don't know how much I'll be able to get done, but there'll be something worth showing I'm sure :)

What's New

Significant rewriting of the script concerning Kyou's motivation. Main areas this affected were: Opening scenes leading up to the first choice and aftermath, much of the Delusion route, the Nozomi route's café scene and the early scenes of the Villainous route

You can now refuse Sayori's request at the end of her route, leading to a different ending

Replaced one of the music tracks with a new tune: The triumphant theme that sometimes plays when Kyou feels he's majorly succeeded at something

Word count is now over 127,500

A few little typo/grammatical corrections, mostly on the opening scenes
