Hello everyone, Sonia here for this weekly Patreon post!

It’s wedding season and love is in the air, so today we’re showing you some of our progress on wedding outfits along with some lovely pictures of the guests! A special thanks to Jérémie, Anna and Alice who worked on the photo mode and the animations that allowed for these cute wedding pictures!

Some Parafolks getting married, you can really feel the love between these two!

Here’s Maggie and Sebastian, because of course they were invited. What could they be laughing at?

Is it really a good wedding if there isn’t at least one kid who’s angry? At least someone is having fun!

Now for the second part, here’s a close up on some of the new items we added:

New Hairstyle!

A classy wedding bun created by Léa for this special occasion! This hairstyle is also available without the hair jewelry for a more classy look.

New Clothes!

The new simple and elegant wedding dress. We loved working on it and we’re looking forward to adding more options for wedding dresses in the future!

A new dress we added to the game, ideal for weddings and other fancy events!

Another new dress, this one has more of a professional look to it but it’s fitting for the celebration! This Parafolk is also wearing a newly added pair of heels.

A more kid friendly dress, with some frills and a more innocent look to it.

A cute tennis skirt for a preppier look.

New Accessories!

We also added more socks options, and of course, you can mismatch them!

2 new bracelets, a pearl one and a leather one that can be mismatched and combined.

4 new necklaces for different styles.

3 new piercings that can be combined for even more possibilities!

And for the last picture, the wedding and engagement rings!

That’s all for now folks! I hope you enjoyed today's post and that gave you a bunch of new ideas on how to customize your Parafolks for special events.

I wish you a great day filled with love and a wonderful weekend!

Impressive! I’m definitely using Photo Mode to take pictures of the characters I create! Thank you!

Becky (Tinks)

OMG!! Leá! These are beautiful I LOVE the hair 😍🥰 absolutely in love with the photos of them all being happy and enjoying the event! Cannot wait to see more progression on relationships etc! Great work team 👏🏻✨♥️

SimMattically

I absolutely cannot believe how great these characters and their emotions look! What an amazing job! ❤️

Pvydrow

I am in love with the bridal hairstyle you guys showed off, it's so chique and ornamented, will babies and toddlers be able to attend to weddings with their parents? not sure if carriers are planned but a baby using a little tuxedo or a little dress would be the absolute cutest thing EVER!! 🥹🥹🥹

Tyra Dragun

OMG 🥰!!! Wedding photos and gameplay videos will be amazing!!!!

Sophie Goodman-Merel

Beautiful! One critique: the kids look a little muscular and mature for children. Any plans on softening that up and making their appearance more childlike?

Renikee

I hope we will also get a huge fluffy dress for wedding, I love those! But I understand if it won't be in the game, it could be tricky do make, but I would absolutely love one like that. Plus points if it's off shoulder, I love off shoulder+sleeved clothes.

Abzstical

beau-ti-fulll xD! 😄💯

Maxayn Henderson

The love big has bitten me, these are amazing. Can you change the color of the barrette (?) in the bridal hair separately? Cannot wait to use the photo mode. I hope there will be a photographer career so that my para can do wedding pictures.

Mauro Fantin

This looks lovely! Though I'd like to ask how the long dresses look while moving? Usually I find it kind of awkward if the fabric follows the movement of the legs, sort of like pants. Though I understand this can be due to technical limitations. Are there any plans to make long fabrics be dynamic? (i.e. cloth simulations?)

Gill Reid

These are wonderful and Maggie looks so beautiful in that picture of her laughing. I can't wait to play 😃

Joy Kennedy

These look amazing! I love the poses. They feel natural and evoke real emotion. My only critique is that the lines on the shoulder, clavicle, back deltoids, and the arch of the back look too pronounced and thick. I think it would be better to soften/lighten the lines and make them more tapered at the end. Also, the kids look a little to muscular for children. They’re bones should be less dense and thinner. Other than that, I’m impressed with the detail of clothing, hair, and poses. Great job!

Anna Senén - Caront

I love the hairstyle! And the people laughing, they feel so lively !!

Sanersh

I love this so much! I really want to see some wedding food like the cake and 1 bite food. I think a cool feature would be to hire a caterer for the food, plus a wedding planner to plan the wedding. If you choose not to, it could stress the the bride and the groom, and more of a chance that the wedding will fail/not go the way they want it to go. And are there going to be different types of weddings? ( I mean different places you can have your wedding, and different cultural weddings.) Anyways this was a cute and interesting post! Everyone have a great rest of your day!

I love the mismatched items. I do think the parafolks do look really muscular. The muscles are really defined for all the adults, and I'm assuming they aren't all meant to be super muscular? The children also look like really short adults, which is a bit strange since Eli looks great when you show him. Regardless, it's always great to see what y'all are working on.

Brooke H

Yayyyyy!! I love weddings, and customizing clothes will give so many options for creating appropriate outfits. I don't have to worry about dresses that only have white swatches. 💒💐

Annatasha Saifol

I’m having my belated wedding reception in exactly a week!!! So this post just made me so happy!!! We’ve been married 2 years and have a 1.5 year old daughter and she’ll be my “maid of honour”! I wonder if flower girls/boys will be a feature for weddings! Hehe

MeLikesCheese

The high heels actually being high made me so happy

Macanon Snow

Soon to plan a dream wedding in this game, thank you team :'>

Wonderful! Love being able to mismatch stuff! Are these pictured more low quality when posted? Cause things look a bit "blurry' or smudged I have noticed that the female paras look a bit manly. Is this just because of what they wear or am I just wrong? Their shoulder blades look a bit painted on too (not like an actual shape)

Kat

So many strides are being made! We love thissss🥰

Ryn

The new outfits and accessories look as lovely as ever! Really impressive. And I love the poses! However, I’m not sure the body details are quite working at the moment. I think the level of detail is lovely but personally, I find the body details too stark. As a result, the paras either look extremely muscular, or slightly emaciated. Perhaps it would be worth making the colour of the body details more similar to the skin colour? That might make the body details subtler and fit better with the rest of the body. The same can be said for the shirt that Sebastian is wearing. The details and the creases are lovely, but I think they might fit better if they were closer to the colour of the shirt. I also feel that the shoulders/ upper arms look a bit odd, at the moment. There is a skin detail on the upper arms of the adult paras that just looks out of place, especially when looked at from the side or in the first picture. I’m assuming it’s supposed to be the ball of the shoulder but it seems a bit too low down the arm for that. In contrast, the child’s shoulders, with no drawn body detail, look more natural. However, I’m not sure that putting the body detail higher on the arm would fully solve the problem. The definition of the ball of someone’s shoulder is going to look very different depending on the position of the arms: think arms loose at the sides vs arms raised, etc. I think that’s the main reason the first picture looks a bit off. And if you are defining the shoulder with drawn lines, I think you might find that the shoulders always look strange in certain poses. I could be totally wrong but I wonder whether it would be better to use shading to define the shoulder, rather than drawn lines? So yeah… I could be totally off on all this - and the artstyle is looking gorgeous regardless – but thought I might just mention it!

Wondrous_Mickey

I hope we get some more extravagant choices for wedding dress, like those that are really wide in size. Wedding veils would be nice too.

GXSimmer

Those are lovely. I really love the warmth and depth to your game. Great work!

Lyyo_

The eyebrows look so good!! And I love the dresses, piercings... It looks so good!!

Junio Jose

Hi Sonia👋🇧🇷 um abraço desde o Brasil, I am very happy with the progress of the game😍. it's turning out so beautiful❤️😭❤️. however, something that calls my attention are the children, they don't look like children at all. they look more like adults on a small scale. Will the body model of children, babies and teenagers still be worked on? Happy Friday to the entire Paralives team.

Megan Santucci

I love the poses, especially the first one! 😍

Megan Santucci

When you say the new hair is available without the jewels, does that mean you're planning a separate "hair accessory" category?? Or will there just be a few styles with integrated accessories?

Max

The laughing looks so heartfelt ❤️ I really wanna know the joke now haha Lovely work as impressing as ever!

Catloverplayer

Hello Alex Any chance y'all can work in some wedding veils especially medium to long ones.

Brett Fowler

Thank you for the mismatching socks. I can accurately make my dad now.

S&M Gonzalez

I loveee this wedding dress <3

ZLoves212

love the wedding dress and that side hair clip, but the mismatching socks spoke to my spirit 😭

teszter.bp

I think you nailed that pre-puberty / pre-teen look. these children look like that. and I also hope there will be a stage when they look like little kids ( 4-7 y old ) :) it would be so cute

allison hogarth

love the dresses but the parafolk women’s arms are very odd! in the front view, why don’t they have armpits in the right spot? it’s like the arm connects to the body for half of the torso

Abel Aditya

I absolutely love this! The guy in the first pic has no nails tho. Also will we be able to have different nail colours on each hand, nail designs etc

Max

Will the paras actually be taller in heels or will it basically shorten their legs like in The Sims? Since you guys have different heights anyway it would be nice if they actually made smaller Paras taller!

Gabby

These outfits look so cute! I can't wait to see weddings in action, it's going to be so fun! My only critique would be how dark the lines are showing the deltoid insertion on the humerus. While I understand it's a stylistic choice, that type of groove on the skin would not be noticeable on someone's arm at rest unless they are extremely well defined. Im also confused by how the scapula is defined on both Maggie and the other para as the lines kinda make it look like they have some scapular winging going on. Maybe lighten the lines a bit or make it closer to the para's natural skintone. Other than that, great work! ❤️

Tallulah

This is great! My only thought is that the kids look like scaled-down adults. Will there be more than one stage of life for kids?

Leticia

Es la primera vez que he decidido comprar patreon después de haber seguido el juego por 3 años o más, y no me arrepiento. No sabía que se veía así de increíble ❤️

Reagan Daughtry

This looks truly stunning. I’m so excited to experience this! The only thing I would say is that I feel like there is a lack depth within the creations (shine and shadows in appropriate areas). The dark line you’re using now may do better with softening. Developing a way for light to be cast appropriately would be my only critique.

Lonerette

I really like all the options, especially the engagement and wedding band combo and well as mismatched socks. I like that the kids had cute clothing choices.

TnT_Terry

Fabulous job on all, can't wait to see more ;)

pekeniax

This is so lovely! One thing though, I still feel like some body lines should be less noticeable, like the shoulders from the side, the neck tendons, the collar bones and scapulas, I think those lines should blend in a little more otherwise they look like bruises or dirt 🤔

Amber Grace

I agree with the comments saying the lines of the body details are too much... please please think it over, it'd look so much better without them.. just go for a simpler less detailed style, if possible? Or at least make them less visible, it really looks odd and foreign... Everything else is really pretty, I love it <3

Zeevryn

I am in a Paralives Facebook group and every time we share pics of the people, members comment on the lines on the people, on their upper arms and backs in particular. They just seem harsh and look uncomfortable. Will there be an option to not show all of the lines or are those going to be edited to look more realistic?

Teri Lastovicka

Can you please add ear tunnels and ear plugs with different sizes? That would be lovely 🥹
