Hey everybody!We got a LOT of new patrons this week (in what we're unfortunately referring to as "The Gerbert Bump" or "The Gerbump") so we thought it was time for a long overdue AMA bobus episode! If you've got a question for us, go ahead and comment on the post below and we might just answer it when we record later this week. This one will not only celebrate the rise of Gerbert but also the third anniversary of this very podcast!And, as always, a poll for engagement.What did you think of the Gerbert episode?

I love the dives into Christian media that I have repressed. I also like all the forays into musicals, games, and movies y'all do. The evangelical nonsense feels like the core of your pod, but all the other topics and explorations elevate it. Honestly I could listen to you guys deconstruct pope milk for a whole episode, you have a great dynamic, humor, insights, and analysis.

For as much as it comes up on the show as a north star of Christian children’s entertainment (Gerb withstanding), have you ever considered doing an outright episode on VeggieTales or its feature film efforts? Otherwise, has there been any consideration regarding the deluge of knock-offs that arose in the series’s wake (I.E. Dorbees, Gaither’s Pond, Hermie the Caterpillar (starring Tim Conway and Don Knotts), The one with sentient rocks that form a Christian rock band, the Christmas-themed pilot for a Futurama-esc series about robots learning about god and fighting a Jewish stereotype cyborg directed by the guy who did Hoodwinked, etc)?
