Hi!
I have good and bad news. Let's start with the bad one. We'll have to wait a couple more weeks before the release of the new version.

I've been working hard all this time, interrupting only for food and sleep. To back up my words somehow, I have published a list of changes. The game development process takes a hell of a lot of time, and the fact that I'm a perfectionist to the core only makes it worse. I would really appreciate some help in the future, but so far there is only one person in my team, that's me, so you're just gonna have to bear with me.

Good news.

I have significantly improved the game in all aspects. Most importantly, I completely redesigned the role playing system, improved the picture, picked up the best angles for scenes, added some cool effects, everything is better. Even Tyler is dumber now. This is a good thing, right?

So why the holdup?

Short version: With the latest improvements, the game has started to look completely different than before. So I'm doing a complete remake of all the scenes, starting from the very beginning, so they would match. It's better to do it now than later.

Long version:

Please forgive my ignorance, I'm still learning. Not so long ago, I learned about two ways to improve the picture, which I did not know about before.

The first is to replace the original shaders with better ones. This helped to significantly improve the appearance of the characters, but knocked down the color settings. I had to manually re-configure each character. As you can imagine, it took a lot of time.

The second is to improve the maps. Without going into technical details, some maps have problems with shadows and color display. The new method allows you to make all the maps more or less the same. I also had to re-figure out the lighting settings on each map.

With these improvements game changed drastically from what it was. I decided to redo all the old scenes from scratch. This will fix some old mistakes and shortcomings.

I was afraid that I might have missed some tiny detail again that would have helped me improve the picture and spent considerable time to study everything thoroughly so as not to return to this issue anymore.

I'm doing my best, so please be patient a little longer.

Sincerely yours, Skoegul
