Greetings!

I want to share some changes and progress!

Starting with what may not be the most exciting but is very important:

The library will now consist of three rooms instead of the originally planned two. I had to add another one because two simply weren't enough space. After all, a library is no small place, and I want to show how big it is.

A "surprise" new interface. This one came completely out of nowhere. It will greatly simplify navigation between animation selections while staying within two pages. The old interface allowed 3 animation buttons per page, while the new one will support up to 12. (It will dynamically expand downward depending on the number of animations.) The new icon style will also make it possible to visually represent (in future) what each animation looks like (or at least give a rough idea). Also, a new infinite mode indicator, which has been requested for some time.

Additionally, the dynamic portrait can now be hidden if desired and is positioned closer to the scene itself. Due to this change, the dynamic portrait will not be available at the release of version 0.2.0 for Morrigan and will appear in the game a little later.

The quest system — there won't be anything new for the end user here, but since things haven't progressed too far yet, I decided to rework the internals of the quest system. The more quests appear, the harder it becomes to manage them with the current setup — adding, modifying, removing, testing, and so on. What's already done allows me to cut the time it takes to add a new quest by several times (testing included).

And now for what's truly exciting

The library director is ready:

And a strawberry on top of the cake:

Thanks for all the support! Seeing how much you care about the game makes it impossible to settle for a 'basic' update. I’m going all in to make this something special. One last thing. I’m taking a short break in early March for some important IRL stuff. This will slightly delay the next WIP post, but stay tuned - I’ve already got some interesting stuff ready to share before then! Appreciate the understanding
