🔓 UNLOCKED | Summer Started This Week, And I’m Taking That Personally (Patreon)
Content
It feels like summer officially started this week.
Not calendar summer. Real summer.
The kind where the air gets warmer, everybody suddenly looks a little better, the sea starts flirting with you again, and you remember that life is a lot more fun when you stop asking imaginary people for permission.
Maybe it’s the weather.
Maybe it’s the first proper beach days.
Maybe it’s just that very specific feeling of walking outside and suddenly remembering that your life is actually happening right now, not later, not when everything is perfect, not when everybody understands you.
Right now.
And honestly, I needed that reminder.
Because it’s very easy to spend your life waiting for the right version of yourself to appear.
The more confident version. The freer version. The version with the perfect body. The version who doesn’t care what people think. The version who finally knows exactly what she wants.Or he wants.Or whatever dramatic little main character arc we’ve invented for ourselves this week.
But summer has a way of cutting through all of that.
The sun comes out, the sea is right there, and suddenly all those imaginary rules start looking a little ridiculous.
Everybody has their own life. Their own values. Their own morals. Their own idea of what is beautiful, free, sexy, strange, too much, not enough, tasteful, shameless, inspiring, dangerous, ridiculous, or completely normal.
And honestly?
Good.
You don’t have to live inside someone else’s comfort zone.
If you want to take your top off in the beach shower because the sun is out and it makes you feel alive, go ahead.
If you want to dive naked into the sea because your body is your body and the water is right there looking very inviting, go ahead.
If you want to be a little louder, a little softer, a little sexier, a little freer, a little more yourself than people expected, go ahead.
As long as you are not hurting anyone, bothering anyone, or breaking the law, I really don’t see the problem.
And before someone starts typing like they just discovered morality five minutes ago: yes, in Spain, skinny dipping itself is not illegal in the way some people seem to think it is.
I checked. Obviously.
That doesn’t mean “do whatever you want without thinking.”
It means stop carrying shame that doesn’t belong to you.
That’s the part I keep coming back to lately, also with HEATWAVE.
Not because HEATWAVE is the point of this post.
Summer is the point.
That feeling is the point.
But HEATWAVE is slowly becoming one of the places where I can put that feeling. Not just the photos I take, but the thoughts behind them. The questions. The freedom. The softness. The chaos. The little philosophy hiding underneath all the sun, skin, beaches, bikinis, nipples, saltwater, and occasional questionable decisions.
Although yes, obviously, those help.
The photos in this post are just a small piece of that world. Like most of my work, they belong to different shoots, different days, different little stories. The full galleries live where they belong, inside the archives of those shoots.
But this post is not really about one specific gallery.
It’s about the feeling that connects them.
Summer.
Freedom.
That tiny mental switch where you stop performing the version of yourself people expect from you and start living a little closer to the version that was already there underneath all the noise.
So maybe that’s the energy for this summer.
Less shame.More sunlight.Less explaining.More being yourself.
Summer is basically here.
Please behave accordingly.
Or don’t.

P.S. Since this one is free for everyone on here, the nipples had to be blurred. Patreon doesn’t allow nudity in public or free posts, and apparently “but it’s summer” is not a valid legal argument. Rude.Don’t be shy to share it. And if this is your thing… you already know where the rest lives.
O no.
