Because the Kai version is the closest to the original source, the manga. No fillers, faster pace and flashbacks are as brief as in the manga. Plus, he already watches Naruto for 1 or up to 2 hours, so it also fits his schedule.

Also mods could improve collaboration a bit more during Naruto streams, as the chat goes extremely wild sometimes fr. Ranting spoilers in the chat, hating on character as soon as they appear before Nick understand them at first hand like danzo and karin. Also it could be difficult for mods since the number of viewers is also high so might have to put extra efforts up there.

Rthym, yeah, Narutards go feral a lot. I hate chat in Naruto streams. We, or I try to use emotes as little as possible because some people may want to talk. We have spoilers in control most of the time for a while tho and chat hating on characters is fine to an extent.
