Comments

Karystma

My fave movie out of the trilogy and my most rewatched movie of all time

JJ

Should've watched season 5 before it tbh but that's fine

wildwilf

the fight scene with the song you reacted to awhile ago is peak

Leburs

HOLY FUCKKKKKKKKK HE ACTUALLY DID IT

Jacob

We are here yay

purplehearts

Film with one of the best fight in anime history🔥

Yağmur

I just looove to see bakugou/deku team up dynamic !!! Tx for the reaction! Cant wait for the rest and also Dr Stone 🥹

Burrito Panda

My friends and I went to see this in theaters like 4-5 times after it came out. Goated movie.

Aisha

Watching this live was amazing. Happy he turned comments “off” so no one ruin the movie for him. His reaction to the “scene” was amazing to watch. Going to rewatch this again.

Mustard

I'M SOOO HYPE FOR THISS

Ricky V

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ! LETS GOOO

Noboi

This is a lot of people's favorite MHA movie for a reason. It's just great seeing the class working together like this ngl

lilac.

OMG I'M NOT AT HOME, DON'T DO THIS TO ME, I DIDN'T EVEN BRING HEADPHONES. 😭😭😭

Mason Braden

10/10 masterpiece cry everytime

Tyler Colburn

Bro Nicholas blessed us with some more peak content

Alyn

Let’s goooo!!! lol this woke me up completely

103_luna_111

So excited for this! Was wondering when this week it would be coming out- one of the only anime films that makes me bawl my eyes out because of the character development (plus the music- MHA has its own league of hypeness)

TheK-B1000

I KNEW YOU WOULD LOVE THIS!

Nadiaaa

BRO LETS GOOOO. I CANT WATCH IT NOW BUT IM HYPE. ILY NICK

lilac.
>>141301765

how lucky HAHAHAHA, I'm waiting to arrive home so I can watch the reaction in peace.

▪︎Rody_S.▪︎

I MISSED THE STREEEEAAAM SHIT I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH T_T

Attila Demeter

I'm not ready for this reaction but let's fckin gooo! 🫣🔥🔥🔥

Trans Yuri

I love how all of the movies are cannon. The manga even had a flashback chapter for the movie.

VOID Alchemist

Chronologically this movie takes place between the last two arcs of season 5, but because of some anime shenanigans its best to watch this after finishing season 5. Because it released so early on relative to its place in the timeline, they kept spoilers to a minimum but could not eliminate them all without the timeline not making sense.

Savatar_-_-

Why he doesn’t like crunchy?

Zonexfw

i've never been on drugs but i bet watching this fight feels better than drugs this shi was soo good 😭😭🙏🙏

Kolekristian

i still dont know how bakugo got sum of ofa

Lexplosion

Yeeeeeees I've been so excited for this

Kanta

They only had the sub version of the film available in theaters when I saw it, and holy shit did that theater smell bad but also holy SHIT that surround sound MHA music

Trans Yuri

So the nickname you gave nine (All for two) doesn't actually work. One for all is called such because it's one quirk for multiple people so one (Quirk) for all (Many people) and all for one is the inverse All (Quirks) for one (Person). Following that naming convention nine would be nine (Quirks) for one (Person) and thus it is shortened to nine.

Cosmic Mumen Rider

1:47:44 Bro put himself on mute it was that good 💀💀💀

SE

to all saying the movies are not canon .. they are hori made all important support and side chars from movies canon ... when he brings them into the manga as reactions to something or screaming for deku when they see him in tv !!!

Nadiaaa

LMAO WHEN HE BOUGHT THE DUB I WAS DYING

V

Yesss!!! Thank you for this Nick!! I love this movie so much 😭🙌

XtremeChese

movie 3 is not as good but movie 4 is bringing peak this year 🔥🔥

Dnaught

Despite what a majority of the chat was saying, this and all the my hero movies are in fact canon, even if the timing doesn't feel right. All movie-only characters have popped up in the manga at some point in the final arc.

Cody Wyka

I would say that this is the best MHA movie. I didn’t really like the end w/ bakugo just magically forgetting that he had OFA, but I understand why they did it. The rest was peak!

RayRayUA

I saw some of your stream earlier on my lunch break. I teared up when you realized Bakugo was getting OFA 😊

Spencer Smith

Can you react to gurren lagann next

SimpleSav

*sees email notification* *drops everything* *opens DoorDash delivery* I've been waiting for this reaction since you began watching MHA. Fire.

Its Hazard

I love how the movie animators always give Deku the GODLY animation

Octo DADDY

Havent seen any info about the next movie but i wonder if its gonna be canon like the first 3.

ryejett

WOOO!! I've been so HYPED to see this reaction!!! 😁😁😁I'm so glad you liked it!! I think I replayed that last scene like 6 times when I first watched the movie, it's just so so so amazing - and with the music too! God. Out of the movies they have right now, this one is definitely my favourite. The third movie is still awesome! but this one just had such a good vibe to it for me. I love the teamwork between Bakugou and Deku, the kids were absolutely precious, and all the other characters getting their little moments as well made me so happy! Especially Shoji and Sero. Also, getting to see Bakugou's moments here was so important for the next season, I think. He's really growing and it's so great to see 😊Have fun in the next season, Nick! It's gonna be awesome!

ErendGoat

You can watch the 3rd movie once you get halfway into season 5

ErendGoat

And UNFORTUNATELY all the movies are stated canon by Horikoshi but not canon to actual storyline in the manga. All the mha movies are stand alone

psilocybnnn

wasnt he supposed to watch this after season 5 episode 12 or 24? this is out of place

Christian Clark

oh I thought he only watched canon, sick!

Kallifornia_8

Omg finally this one is my favorite of all the mha movies

Kleed44

Dabi is the best part always - also it's insane he went 1 on 1 with Endeavor and he was just a Twice clone so imagine the real match up if it happened

Kia
>>141318004

Also the fact endeavor did some powerful moves but dabi kept up was still 🔥

Nadiaaa

You just gotta love Bakugo. He's PEAK🧡I also love Nick's fanbase(idrk what to call it) yall always hyping stuff up it makes everything better😭❤️‍🔥

Abigail Jerry

This is my favorite of the movies! The way the song, “Might+” plays while they fight at the end… UGHHHHH chef’s kiss 🤌🏾

Cole Smith

Worked out with Might+U playing in my ears. The adrenaline boost felt like the entire world depended on me.

Charlie foulkes
>>141307242

think they explained in like season 1 how the user of OFA has to agree to pass it on from themselves, and that it can’t be forcefully taken.

rizqiefajar

Glad I never got to watch the 2nd movie. Can't believe I never got spoiled. That was truly amazing!

amber 2047

This movie is my everything. Cried watching it it was so good.

Tyler Hughes
>>141315158

Yes and no this movie is weird it was released before season 5 but in the timeline it takes place in the middle. So I would assume he is just watching it in release order cause its easier and less confusing

Cesararias04

Omg best reaction for ever bro is so good ❤️🔥

matteo nindido

w. also, does anyone know if hes doing jojo still? he said he'd continue

yasmina C

even without watching yet, I know you were gonna love this. It's hands down the best of the My Hero movies so far. Maybe the next one might surpass it, who knows!

Kolt 45
>>141309974

But the dub is so good he needs rewatch in in dub now cause the va are top tier for mha

Christian Clark
>>141317497

whats the difference. I know they are canon but it just has 0 relevance. so may as watch filler, or atleast good ones

Spectoralis

I cried again 😂 This movie just does something to me man 😢

XI_A_Sourodip Roy

S 6 is crazy. Personally I dint like World Heros mission this much

Hamel

This is the best anime movie I've seen tbh

Sora
>>141306081

what was even the point of them putting that stuff in the movie though ? for hype maybe, idk... and if you don't analyze things reeeally closely, then it doesn't spoil that much ( I did write a list though, and there is more spoilers/hints than people think ). but man, that one scene that I won't mention JUST in case was.... well, I think that was something they should have left out, if ya know... ya know

Evan Thompson

This is hands down my favorite anime movie of all time. Nothing compares

Sora
>>141315158

yeeeah, specially all the new moves that won't be shown until season 5 like tokoyami flying, the fact that bakugo and todoroki are able to do hero work now, and the...other thing I won't mention just in case (and all of this was in the movie so this ISN'T a spoiler ok). but I'm glad that he forgets things so much, so hopefully he won't remember anything but how awesome that ending fight was

Sora
>>141325214

he mentioned that that video performed really badly, soooo maybe not

IAMABYPASS
>>141317497

recent season has mentioned a scene from the first movie, it is canon with the characters

Drewdle

Peak movie. Ik you would love the ost

Izumi

Personally, I think Heroes Rising is the best movie so far. World heroes mission is okay, but definitely can't surpass this one. S6 is sick, can't wait for it

Rainbow Lynn

Hihi I love that you say Momo and Tenya look good together. The parents of the class! I personally ship them more than Momoroki.

No Name

Nick: hates furries Also Nick when he sees Nezu: 10:25

Isaiah Armstrong

This movie was freaking amazing. I saw this in theaters and went crazy watching it😂 but props to nine for being a goat villain. He was awesome

skyfall

Animation has nothing to do with budget, this is just the result when bring talented animators (Yutaka Nakamura, Takafumi Mitani,..) with good decent schedule.

Chris Gama

1:46:43 God I love that choice to just keep the OST playing but cut out all sound effects and voices. Just pure, pure magic!! "The Marvels" is a better movie than this hahahah!

Bekk96

Well this two first movie is great ! .. but world heroes kinda … .idk

Ray Roy

You are on fire Nick, keep it up!! :)

Exalys

The movie is cool but i really don't think we should consider it canon, i don't want to spoil Nick if he read that but some details on shigaraki at the end clearly shows this movie happens at the end of season five, Tokoyami can fly like it's nothing for him... It's not even teasing for the next season at this point, just free spoilers. The only canon thing this movie has are still frames of characters that dosen't even last 2 seconds in the main series.

Jarvice

That final sequence just keeps going in the most insane way. Looking forward to watching season 5!

원 지

nah this movie is cinema peak

Sr RafaTV
>>141343522

Of course there has to be something, there's no point in bringing in an insane animator but not having material for him to work with, influence YES and a lot

Vailing Bow

Peak Movie academia. Best movie by far. Also, I really loved Deku. Always have. Deku was willing to sacrifice his dream and transfer One For All so he could save those children. He viewed saving those children as greater than his dream. So selfess.

Tyler Hughes

33:01 ngl I didn't realize this until now and I've watched this show multiple times. My mind is blown

Mert Akyüz
>>141349230

The Movie is canon. The Characters appear in the Manga, these events happened it just takes place between MVA and the EA arc in S5, some designs are wrong in the Movie but that can be attributed to that the production started before MVA even finished in the Manga and Bones just didn't know any better

Newalbacore8
>>141306081

shigaraki not matching what he looked like after that certain arc at all in this movie? mva wasn't finished in the manga when they started making the movie so they couldn't have known

Exalys
>>141349230

Shit i meant we should NOT consider it canon, that's why i criticised the incoherences and the fact they released Heroes rising before season 5 aired. To get back to the canon point, i'm also a manga reader and i feel like Horikoshi made it canon just to please the fandom, nine and the kids only appeared in 1 or 2 pages in 400+ chapters and we never had a "hey remember when we were left on our own on an island and 4 dangerous terrorists almost killed us but then i gave baguko OFA and we beat nine" talk or something like that. The movies are enjoyable but except the first one, nothing would have changed if they weren't canon

Idoray

I love the next film ! Hype for your reaction to it

Project Pachia

So far my favorite MHA out of the 3 and am hoping that the 4th one delivers.

pancake boi

Did he say in his stream if he’s gonna upload dr stone ep 2 today?

Nadiaaa
>>141309974

Fr. I actually started watching the show in dub. But when nick started mha I go used to sub so whenever I hear dub I get terrified 😭💀

TheHumanPro23

Is it dr stone tonight? I think he said Thursday or friday

eatiblegeo18

definitely a better movie than the first one which just felt like 2 hours of filler. The fight at the end was pretty visually cool but probably one of the biggest ass pulls I have seen in anime lol

ThatWasOdd

Glad I got to finally watch this movie! I already saw the 1st & 3rd movie, so I regret that this one fell under my radar. Easily the best movie of the trio. OFA Bakugo is so fucking badass. Absolute peak.

danni

Worlds heroes mission has the most “movie” feeling if that makes sense. Like if kinda feels like it should be a live action with the way it’s animated. I love it but this one’s def my fave with the 3rd coming in closely

PanjaMysy

I heard that this movie was Horikoshi's original plan for the end of My Hero with Bakugou inheriting OFA and Deku making the sacrifice of giving up power to save the world. Not sure if it's true or not, but it makes sense.

Reclaimer

I started CACKLING when you went to rent it on youtube XD Sub purists...

Sickness

Some of the losers in the chat----- @minionfr454 "bro is watching mid" typical MHA hating loser that has no love life or people that care about them, @moncef1234566 "we missing Naruto reactions" loser has nothing better going on in his life but to complain about not getting Naruto reactions, @hohenhiem_ "is this Naruto" oh yeah no bro its Boruto you missed out on 400 episodes being watched in the span of a few hours you must have been too busy stuffing your face with food, @hohenhiem_ once again "we need Naruto" no we don't need anything bro just go back to stuffing your face with Cheetos,..... Yeah way too many lame weirdos popping up in chat my comment would go on forever. Would be nice to enjoy a reaction without a bunch of random losers popping up trying to ruin the mood but that will continue to happen.

Sickness

Next time it would be nice to just have it on emotes only if you gotta stream it

Sickness
>>141423649

Oh hold on @hohenhiem_ came back to give us another amazing comment "rewatch pain arc, why watch this shit?" ooof. Nothing better to do with ur life huh bud? Must suck to be you.

Yue

I legit cried at the final battle. The music, the animation, Katsuki and Deku working together, it was perfect 😭

Sickness
>>141423649

@minionfr454 came back and asked who Nick ships Eri with. The twitter freaks have invaded the chat. Nick constantly keeps check on chat instead of fully being invested into the movie so when he saw this it ruined the flow of one of the best scenes in the movie.

Sickness
>>141362422

Deku always been my favorite. People really downplay him a lot for what he does. The guy was willing to sacrifice his own dream for a couple of children he had just met. Deku deserves more praise for the actions he takes. Instead he gets hated on. But thats fine the real deku fans know he is a great character. Nick was wrong Deku looks cooler than bakugo in my own opinion.

Reclaimer

Your twitch mods are on point decimating the haters! "WAAAH WAAH PAIN ARC WAAAH WAAAAH" *deleted*

Reclaimer

I'm pretty sure it didn't make more money in the states because of how much of a delay there was between the japan release and the us release. Everyone got sick of waiting and watched pirated versions with fan subtitles. (or maybe i'm thinking of the first mha movie icr)

Peril o.o

My favorite movie, ft. main character Deku, and other main character Bakugo! Hot take I wouldn't have minded this ending where Bakugo inherited OFA... :) Glad you were hyped for this as much as I was first time I watched. Great reaction!!

Lizz

Love this movie

Vailing Bow
>>141362422

Yeah, Deku for sure is overhated. They keep harping about how he's a cry baby when he's not. Especially since like season 2 and have been for valid reasons or a gag. Deku's also different compared to generic MCs too. He's actually smart and thinks before he acts

Reclaimer
>>141423649

Yeah I was so put off by the flow of chat during those comments … it completely took me out of the movie. Creeps man…

t-menk
>>141315142

Characters from the movies are mentioned multiple times in the manga. Nine is IN the manga. Admittedly the timeline is a little loose with some details, but they're canon to both.

Enter Name

FUCK one piece and naruto fanboys ffs. and i say that as someone growing up with these shows..

Asiel Ramirez

I love this movie but Bakugo getting the OFA and the losing It felt kinda stupid in my opinion

Shaun Cain thomas

since I found out about your channel ive been wishing to c your reaction to this movie W

ErendGoat
>>141315142

LMFAOOO my nigga just because movie characters make an appearance in the manga does not mean the movies are canon to the main storyline. Movies that are canon to the storyline are movies like demon slayer mugen train or jjk movie 0. The events in the mha movies aren't even mentioned in the manga

ErendGoat
>>141315142

And no characters from the movies were NEVER MENTIONED IN THE MANGA except Star & Stripe lol. Can't even say her because in the first movie she didn't exist as a character

ErendGoat
>>141315142

And nine is only in the manga as one of the many images in shigaraki head when thinking about what he wants to destroy lol he isn't actually in the manga nor mentioned

e10
>>141586650

With these types of movies, cool fanservice action comes first and the questions get asked later lmao

e10
>>141423649

Fr, they just got nothing better to do with their day ig. Lives revolving around reactions to their favorite show like a dog waiting for its owner to come home. I watch the Naruto reactions too, but I wouldn’t ever be caught begging till my knees are bruised like those guys, just sad lmao. If ur tuning into a reaction stream just to hate on what’s being reacted to, find literally any hobby please.

e10

These “non canon but canon” movies are all about hype fanservice action and this one delivers best fs

e10
>>141604249

Nah not talking bout the sexual type, I’m talking bout the Bakugo using OFA type of fanservice.

e10
>>141604249

Fanservice just means it exists solely to please the audience. In anime that’s often sexual shit, but it can also be action that’s just there to look sick and be hype.

CallOfBobo

how tf did i not watch this movie before. this was straight up insane

EkkaLula9

Also, the director, Kenji Nagasaki, confirmed in an interview shared by Twitter user @aitaikimochi that they used the premeditated idea of the original series final battle at the end of Heroes Rising. This reveals that the original ending of MHA series was Deku transferring One For All to Bakugo so that they could fight together.

ave!ry!

my fav movie oat

Mels

My feels during the fight were literally 😭🔥😭🔥😭🔥😭🔥😭🔥😭🔥😭🔥 god I love MHA so much

Iruma Mob 100

All three movies are canon, confirmed by the author so we can take his word for it. The second movie came out between season 4 and 5 but it takes place in the timeline after the last arc in season 5 (thanks to the studio switching two arcs to time the release of the third movie better). While the second movie was being worked on, Horikoshi had characters mention Nine and the experiment he underwent in the manga but was talking about it as if it was about to happen. Then they mentioned the Hero Commission Project (what the students were on the island for) a chapter or two later. Plus the movie has hints of things from that arc and shortly before sprinkled in for manga readers to notice. They changed the look of some characters slightly to not spoil anime-only fans though. So timeline wise this movie is after the last arc in season 5 but since the studio rearranged that arc with another for the third movie, it technically still fits the timeline just fine.

Enter Name

My Hero is FAR FAAAR better than Demon slayer

Vivian Merveille

in the order of my favs and in order of the best fights imo 1 & 4=1st, 2=2nd, 3=3rd.

Ricky Savage

ik this was over a year ago but please watch You're Next
