Season 5 hate is crazy, it pushes the story so much. I think people just want over the top fights and no story. Since you like lore, I think season 5 might be top 3 for you NGL.

This arc is not the whole season. It finishes around episode 11/12. The next two arcs are more interesting than the Joint Training arc

Class B has some interesting quirks. I think out of this first group I think the guy who can make things from his breathe is the coolest quirk.

Yeah this is the arc that unfortunately just drags on way too long, this first fight was goof but they spend too long in mini flashbacks talking about their plans, and having the other studios watching the fight and analysing and stuff, these fights taking entire episodes is just a bit too much theres still amazingness in it though, but a lot of meh too sadly

I think making class B also 20 students was a mistake, its way too many characters to have 41 of them all fighting this season, especially when half of class B are extremely forgettable

All the build up and character development in this season makes season 6 so much better. I watched parts of season 6 before I watched the first five seasons. Watching it from the beginning made me appreciate everything in season 6 so much more

Personally I think its great that Horikoshi is willing to expand the cast this much and give the side characters time in the spotlight which not a lot of other anime do. Hes great at making each character distinct and unique and to me thats just more characters to enjoy. Plus we got Shinso back which has been a long time coming and Im glad he gets his time here too.

season 5 was a LOT worse when it was released weekly tbh.. it has nice animation and honestly it makes watching season 6 feel even better

This arc has a lot of peaks, and great moments. Although, most of the people with the issues with this season were not happy with the pacing, due to them being weekly watchers. It should be better watching like you are, although this arc you're on is too much imo. The season gets really good.

Fun fact, Gévaudan's name is a reference to a mysterious beast called "La Bête du Gévaudan" (Gévaudan's Beast) that have been accused of multiple attacks in XVIII century France, Gévaudan being the region where those attacks took place.

Nick just trust. There's a good part in this arc. Plus each arc is about 12 episodes. Then next arc is like more important and backstories. Also you'll Love monama eventually prob.

I dont really understand nich`s opinion on Uraraka. I feel like we have seen her do many cool things and hold her own multiple times. I dont feel like they constantly bring up her love for Deku either as many other shows do much more of

"I can't even imagine 100%" we've seen him go 100% many of times before, in season one all he could do is go 100%, that's why he broke his body all the time, because he couldn't handle 100%, and we've seen him go all out against Nine from the movie and against Overhaul with no drawbacks because of Eri. But yeah, I can't imagine him going 100%.😭🙂

This season is a good refresher to see everybody's quirks and how they've grown, what they added and such. Again its a primer for whats to come, which you will not BELIEVE when it happens!

This arc is pretty good on rewatch, knowing the events of future seasons. It's an enjoyable arc, maybe a little long. but defo needed for upcoming seasons. Enjoy!

I thought you'd have noticed by now but mha basically has two arcs in each season, which means... yeah we'll see training for a while. I don't mind tho, I really enjoy seeing them just studying or practicing like the students they are ❤️ (they deserve to rest c'mon 😅)

When these came out week to week I thought it was just gonna be a bunch of these kinds of training eps and stopped watching for a bit but when I went back to it after the eps filled out I was surprised how good it got as soon as I went back into it. It definitely gets better fast imo and this season pops off when you get to the hype episodes.

Season 5 is slow in the beginning but it'll pick up at the end, so don't worry, Nick! Like I've said, there's a lot of breadcrumbs for you to find in this season so just sit back, relax, and keep an eye out for anything that looks interesting! You're crazy good at noticing little things and predictions, so I'm sure you'll see how the story is going to come together in no time😁

This part is entertaining, but it’s clear why it’s considered the weakest season. After how crazy the show has gotten with villain attacks and high stakes, it’s just too mellow going back to school and training. It’s feels like something that would have fit better back in season 1 or 2 tbh. What this arc does best tho is let us see some of the side characters pop off.

This arc is very similar to the Cultural Festival arc, it doesn't seem like anything too crazy upon first glance, but as the show goes on, it becomes clear just how important it really is. There's alot they set up here. Just keep with it, you'll probably enjoy it.
