Also, the Harley Quinn animated show on HBO Max is really funny and Clayface is a major highlight! The Peacemaker show is so good too

I think it’s ok… The problem is the pace. Everything about the pace from action,to character interactions was wayyy too fast.i felt like i had no time to be drawn to the show,to feel the vibe.

To me the fight scenes seem to been done more realistic. Because obv the fights we know from anime are way to fast haha. Slowing it down shows more realism but on the other hand it looks weird to us. Dont really know what i should think of it as well

The action animation was really underwhelming compared to what was shown in the trailers and clips before the series came out. TBH I'm not that impressed with Wit Studio and they're supposed to do the new One Piece? Mappa did AOT and Vinland better than they did after they decided not to finish both, I dunno how a series backed by Warner Brothers and Wit could be so mid, is it supposed to compete with other iseakai like Mushoku or Re:zero, gtfoh...

Wit did Ranking of kings, great pretender, spy x family and then they did aot and vinland saga really well too. They might be just doing a smaller budget for this. But I agree it’s weird either way when it’s backed by warner brothers

Ok Ranking of Kings looked really good, but those shows aren't really action anime right? When I think Suicide Squad that already has a fanbase and some really well-known DC characters, the action's gotta be good or else their iseakai story gotta be as good mushoku, rezero, slime, etc. I only watched the first 2 eps and that was enough for me

Nick please react to Kaiju No 8 soon! a lot of ppl are reacting to it cuz it's just fun filled with great animation and action, you'll definitely boost the fandom cuz you're actually into kaijus which I think the series provides a different perspective on.

Obviously the animation will be good, it's wit studio, the goat from the first seasons of attack on titan :D and the scenes that are all a bit lacking in detail and distorted are similar to some scenes from jjk season 2, that's the style, its not like if the quality was low, or the scene wasn't finished, this style is intentional

to be fair i think aot season 3 is the best aot has ever looked, even including the finale. They had the goat arifumi imai on their side, same for vinland saga. also vivy looked amazing, and this could just be a one off. too early to get so pessimistic imo, wit has done some amazing looking things, so don't discredit their potential. it's way better than if some other studio did it like jc staff to one punch man

action-wise I think AOT was their best work, and everyone has their own preferences when it comes to animation, especially the action sequences, so my preference was Mappa (regardless of how they treat their employees) over Wit when they worked on AOT and Vinland as comparison b/c both studios worked on it. I don't know if I was being pessimistic or just disappointed because the trailers looked great and they stuck a big "WB Pictures" label at the start of show as to show it's supposed to be a big deal, and I also really enjoyed James Gunn's Suicide Squad movie, so my expectations were pretty high going in and the first few eps definitely did not live up to them. Maybe it's because it's a collab with warner that made it not as good, so I'll gauge their animation when they start airing the new One Piece i guess.

he only reacted to 1 episode right? A lot of the reactors I watch seem to rave and love it, that's why I wanted to bring it up, many have said it's their favorite anime this past season, which they're not saying about other animes including Demon Slayer, so I don't think they're bs'ing for clicks.

So, about that... He said in a one piece live last week. He said that the Jojo comeback video, was the worst performing video on his channel, got very low views... He was disappointed by the result basically... He said he might watch it off screen (I hope to God he doesn't do that) And later someone asked about it being a Patreon exclusive... He said he maybe will try that at some point. Well, that's basically it!

if he only watched 1 episode, I don't think he can really decide if he likes it based on that, I think he didn't continue because it didn't get the views he was hoping for, so he didn't want it to be like solo leveling and ninja kamui where he starts it and either not that many ppl watch the reactions or he eventually doesn't actually like it

For me this looked fun, i dont have shit to do with suicide squad and dont know any of these guys besides harley. Its not great, but worth watching so far, so if you dont continue it ill prob give it some more eps by myself

yeah it did badly on youtube. There were a few ppl who wanted it back but apparently not the majority of ppl wanted it so it didnt do very well. No point in keeping it on youtube if it ruins the algorithm.
