Dog

yippee

Dog

easily best side characters in fiction right here

Abz2splashy123

glad to see you enjoying dr stone as much as i did

Mr.Herokris

Im really happy that Dr.Stone won the poll. You started it the same way i did. With no actual knowledge about the show etc. anyway Great vid so far im going back to watching it

yasmina C

i cant believe how fast you judged Kohaku just based on her expression (which was fake) and the flowers (which were a distraction) to say she's gonna be annoying and you don't like her lol wow, that's really harsh. :P Especially since Kohaku is top tier as a character lol ps Kinro and Ginro have similar sounding names for a reason, not because they're unimportant side characters ;) you'll seeee

Ali Al-Gattan

kinro/ginro means gold and silver thats why he painted the spear gold for kinro

Westinpeace W

The characters really do make this show for me

Ippodroid16

Glad you finally got to listen to the ending song! And ya kinro means gold

FedeZ7

Btw since you mentioned it before, the monke didnt call senku shiney because hes white or anything, he just doesnt have fur so hes shiney😂

FedeZ7

If i remember correctly kinro translate to golden balls and ginro to silver balls or nuts or so, hence kinro got a gold spear and ginro asked for a silver one

FedeZ7
>>142064390

Also why they highlighted the word "nuts" in that one sentece

Anell Gomez

I'm happy he's enjoying the show.

Thunder2562
>>142062512

I think he judged kohaku harshly because in previous amines he's watched like bleach and naurto, they don't really have strong female casts and fall into overused tropes and cliches when it comes to female characters. (orihime for example)

Martin Fink

Said it last episode but Kohaku is best girl hands down.

freecostco
>>142062512

It made it all the more enjoyable for me because i knew how much more he was going to like her for defying his expectations

Reclaimer

I'm happy you're enjoying it Nicholas. I know you're a sub guy but, this is one show I usually recommend watch the dub for first. ESPECIALLY if english is their first language. So much went over my head when i watched it with subtitles. Then i watched the dub and ... well, it was a completely different show (I understood everything that was happening). That's not to say that I have poor reading comprehension (or that other people do) but, something about all the animation (the faces they make) - everything thats happening - It felt easier for me to focus on the story in english. Like all the "rock" names in the second part, I didn't even know how to pronounce "galena" until i watched it in english and i was like "OH wait, LEAD!" AAANYWAY, i'm not complaining, I'm just thinking about your VIEWING EXPERIENCE!!! haha okay bye

Night Guy

I never noticed Soyuz was there that early in the show 33:12, he looks goofy though

Night Guy
>>142068410

for sure I would also recommend that because dr. stone has in my opinion one of the few really good dubs but sub is also really good so I'm not complaining

Hamel

I love this show so much! it brings me joy

ちゃんねる LUX

Whenever Senku is thinking in his mind, the characters speaking is all voiced by senku.

jiwon330

This show isn't childish. It's gonna get serious trust me

Bekk96

Told yall Nick gonna loves this show ..

dartcp

Why the characters are so sexy is easily explained - the mangaka made hentais before dr.stone. But in Japan it's nothing special. Many mangaka and voice actors start out in the erotic industry in Japan under a different name and then leave when they are better known or have gained enough experience in drawing/speaking

Sinbad_Deity

Technically 4 people got unpetrified

Helior Dusk

Hmm... If you like Dr. Stone, that means I can still hope you'll watch Steins;Gate

Chris Gama

Can't wait till you see the backstory of the village. I personally didn't expect something so emotionally heavy from this show, but it comes out of the blue and really hits you! Not as bad as a Jiraya death though haha

Juuhjooh

Wild how he got Dr Stone here before Frieren, the #1 anime in the world.

heavensdoor2

I love Chrome's and Senku's first interaction, that's how you become enemies to friends in 5 minutes 🤣

Kaleb Beaumont

So glad you’re enjoying it, my favorite show

Phyllis
>>142064390

It's funny but not sure where you heard this but Kinro 金狼 translates to Golden Wolf. Ginro 銀狼 translates to Silver Wolf.

Phyllis

Chrome the only one with the same wavelength as Senku! 😆

Vailing Bow

26:58 I don't mean this in a bad way, but seeing Live just suddenly appear was a jumpscare and a half LOL. Hahahaha and no, Fate isn't the name of the girl from Fate. Her name's Saber AKA Artoria Pendragon.

Renos Charalampous

This is a bit random but I was rewatching ep.116 of hunter x hunter(the muted reaction lmao), I think it'd be great to rewatch it after a while to see how it feels after months of seeing it and would be curious about your reaction

FedeZ7
>>142064390

Oh good to know, not sure where i picked it up tbh, its been a while. Felt reinforced by them highlighting the word "nuts" in the episode but my bad then

Kouzen

Btw the show doesn't expect you to be a scientist, they teach things in the most fun and simplest way. Nice reaction as always 👽

Ashamdon

This show really makes you appreciate what we have with modern technology and medicine. So many things we take for granted, this show points out how amazing these inventions and discoveries are. On top of that they created some very endearing and interesting characters.

Azariel 竜月

Brooo what ? I missed the notification ! Hell yeah I was waiting for that ! + Naruto drop youhou !

Lazygeneration

I love how much you’re loving this so far

sean

w series nick, keep making em if you enjoy it

victoria t

Closing theme is a JAM

It’s really the sad the hate comments and stuff saying he doesn’t do enough. He’s allowed to have a life??? And he’s not obligated to watch anything??

victoria t

Also nick - Gin(ro) & Kin(ro) mean silver 🩶 and gold 💛 in Japanese. They are also NOT the only anime characters with names like these, you will encounter them in other works 👀🍥

Shassassin

Don’t listen to the fiends and addicts who demand you for more! I may be a relatively new Patreon member but I love how you do things. I know that whenever I get off of work and doing daily life stuff I can come on here and get quality content. Same with YouTube; I’ve been a subscriber on your Youtube for a good chunk of time. Anyways, have a wonderful day and keep on doing what you’re doing, it’s outstanding the amount of love, work, fun, and passion you put into your work.

Azariel 竜月

The characters on this show , the story they carry , the human emotions are the strength of the show but not only that . The science while really in-depth at time is still digestible. It’s not overwhelming , Senku while being the absolute genius, the smartest person on earth rn with his memory and mental aptitude is still humble and recognize the strength in each , that even without him there’s people , curious people that would build up he just holds the keys to insane shortcut and speedup the process of human civilisation. That the 2 million years or humankind history , science wasn’t lost .

Azariel 竜月

I feel like Dr Stone is a love letter to humanity and science 🔭 🧪

rizqiefajar

Don't worry bro, there are 40+ years old comedians that act really silly. Your silliness is your strength

e10

You don’t need a science background to enjoy the show or understand. It’s explained for the people who are interested, but it’s not like you have to memorize it to follow the plot.

>>142081614

Think he said he plans to watch it eventually

yorozuyapetel

“I thought [blank] was gonna be a problem but I love him” is like a catchphrase for half the characters in this show

Mustang

DUDE U KNOW GORILLAZ??? THEY'RE MY FAVOURITE BAND :D!

Mels

The fun thing with this show is that you don't have to understand the process but it's still damn exciting when they create things from sractch 🔥🔥

Raigo91

1:28 accompany on nigg! my favorite hxh moment of all time

Soiren

If you want to watch an interesting story of a disease turning you to stone, watch King of Thorn. It's a movie, but it's interesting. The manga was better, in my opinion, but the movie was good too. The kinda didn't 100% follow the source material. There's good parts to both though.
