Gotta admit the author really had to push aside strong characters like Tokoyami, Momo, and Kirishima so other characters could improve. Still love season 5 though and Bakugo's fight is awesome!

The author did great imo. He let his characters shine even in defeat. Kirishima just had the spotlight so he got humbled a bit. And the shroom girl is actually terrifying, if you give her prep time and don't knock her unconscious, she could beat some really powerful dudes.

If you just like action and undeveloped characters in upcoming arcs yes this is boring, but to give us some emotional feelings with characters for future events we need these arcs, also they are in school. They need actual school arcs.

Season 5 sets up a lot of backstory for the events of Season 6 and 7. Honestly I'd say it's pretty crucial of a watch because it focuses less on actual crisis and more on backstory and information. That's probably why it's considered the worst, because it isn't as "hype" but it is one of the most important to the story (imo)

I stg Momo’s quirk is the most wasted in the whole show. She could just make a taser and easily win most fights. Or tear gas, or even the flashbangs she already used before. Not to mention since MHA world is high tech, there’s likely futuristic non-lethal weapons she could copy. I’m sorry but if she’s as smart as the show claims there’s no way she should lose to big hands💀

Yep this is by far the weaker part of the series. Loss of Tokoyami was bad writing, mushroom girl is nonsense. Hope this A vs B arc is over quick so we can get back to the real series.
