Comments

Nero1999

Bro, don’t overexert yourself and worry about us, you just focus on doing things at a good pace and we’ll be here to support you

Busted knuckle

Sup. I started s3 and started to get bored. Read comments as the eps came out and everyone kept complaining with the meeting episodes dragging ass. BUT! People were also saying how important these episodes are "no matter how boring" to the world building in relation to some sort of war arc. Let's see what happens 🤷

Eico

season 3 is more worldbuilding than fighting

Eico

I think it was bad because we had to wait a week to see a meeting episode, after the season was fully done I realized this was pretty important worldbuilding and I kinda liked the little slice of life parts.

Infinity Incarnate

i don't understand why people hate on season 3 i personally love it btw love your reaction

RadzioxxD

The second half places particular emphasis on the Tempest Economy. So you have to be prepared that there will be a lot of deliberations. But season four should certainly be strong. But the first half delivers the action

Genuwhy V

Thing about slime is, it has such a huge world but not enough episodes to cover the vastness so that’s why people complain but the ‘boring’ parts really set up the storylines. In a way it makes sense because Rimuru was reincarnated into a brand new world with its own history and dynamics , story wouldn’t be complete without establishing that first

PSadlon

You may want to consider also watching the Tensura: Visions of Coleus OVA between the Movie and Season Three as it also introduces some things that will be in Season Three and beyond.

10:45 Bro was so overwhelmed by Frey's and Milim's "buns", he thought the fox is a bread...

Tbush

Senko bread

OmegaAlpha 83

Remember nick S3 just has some pacing issues/a lot of meetings and world building, But it does pop off with some of the action. I wont say what, but a lot of things you said you wanted to see will be in S3.

Tbush

Kazalim was revealed like 8 or 9 episodes ago, but they might have called "him" that a few times in easily missable lines, most of the time they refer to "his" alias. Basically he is Yuuki's Hot Elf Mistress

BakaKun21

Guys!! Did he watch tensura nikki?

Song

By the way for sports anime i recommend Eyeshield 21

ave!ry!

season 3 and the movie are both great

Peter Parker

nick loves Fishman arc so much he bought the crimin 😂

Ancientswords

I think season 3 was a little slow weekly, but with you watching 3 eps at a time it's perfect imo

Ancientswords

Eh, pacing issues is more if they have a lot of unnecessary scenes or recaps or fillers in there imo. This is more world building and if you watch 3 episodes at a time it should not be bad at all I think. Can understand that it feels a bit more slow tho ye

sidlo01

because usually the ones most loud are those which have attention span of gold fish when there is not for 1 minute action as in solo leveling. Its same people which will under that 1 episode from attack on Rimuru city complain about boring episode in which they are debriefing what are they supposed to do to win war and revive those dead.

OmegaAlpha 83

I agree, its as someone else said, waiting a whole week just to see 20min of talking was not very rewarding, though bc he will be watching in 3 ep chunks he should be on the good stuff on the 2nd and 3rd week into S3. Only the first week might be boring for him.

OmegaAlpha 83

And i say pacing issues because shows can do a lot of talking while still making it somewhat interesting, so it was more of the directing that's the issue, with the still shots panning over a table. What hurt me the most in this season is when there would be a long talking session then it would play the transition scene and we would go back to the same place, S3 ep 12 for example with the long talk with mojlmile.

Zafkiel

no spoilers but 3rd season is more of a world building season they really get into politics and stuff and whats happening around personally i liked it but many people only care about fighting so its up to you Nick

KaitouKay1412

just to refresh your memory Kazalim was already shown in the episode where they first name dropped Walpurgis. The manga guy Yuuki said Kazalim's soul was inside him so he promised Laplace that if he helped him he would get a body for Kazalim so he could resurrect. He bought an elf girl homunculus body for him to inhabit.

Jason

I'm suprised he's good with the world building episodes. If he enjoys the world building, then I think season 3 won't be a problem for him.

Ashley Matthews

I heard from people that season 3 is slow and informarive so that it sets the stage for season 4🤞

Muhammad Raziq

Where's op last stream I wanna catch up😭

A

Dude chill. If you feel tired take a day to breathe. You don't need to burn out

Danny

If you liked the Politics in Season 1 then you are able to enjoy Season 3 cause there is a Lot of Political Momemts in it to start the Plot for Season 4 but before that you should watch the OVAs after the Movie 👍🏻

King06

I doubt many people would want to see a reaction but in your own time you if you're interested should watch the Slime Diaries spinoff. It's a whole season of just fun wholesome slice of life content following Rimuru and the others. No action heavy scenes or crazy lore but it's more slime content.

s

I can't wait to see the reaction to the film

s

Nick after the movie you should see "vision of "coleus" which is a special story divided into three episodes, which gives interesting information before season 3. I hope you will read it

s

After season 3 you have to wait for the release of the second film and season 4, while you wait I recommend the spin off "Slime diaries" which talks about their daily life in Tempest

shadow_soul 477

Nick i hope for season 3 you go into it with an open mind - I don't think it's mid as others say it's just more slice of life and goes into some of the aspects of rimuru managing his country. Hope you've been enjoying yourself so far!! love the content <3

Jimmy Recinos

No lie I always thought Rimuru as He/it bc he used to be a human dude and was reborn sexless bc of a slime 😅😂😂 I mean he ate other forms too so idk if that makes any difference but don’t worry Nick 😂 he still got that chicks body bc he ate her

Flaycont

You've already seen kazalim. It's the one who was put in a girl's body

The_Spud_Player

God that voice acting from Laplace, after killing Valentine, doing the laugh crying is still some of the best emotional voice active ever heard.

javen

Depends on what you feel is a fall off from anime. Does less action sequence = worse? Personally i dont think so but i understand that there are a few that only like action sequences. Season 3 is more of a setup season and if there is a season 4, thats where the action really begins

Aleksandar Vrečko

watch the 3 episodes of visions of coleus before the season 3

Nevin Clark

you should definitely watch the extra three ep's before season 3

Mikyah

Nick, without spoiling obviously, don't have your expectations too high for season 3. It's the slowest season slime will have. So just a heads up, be patient with the first 6 episodes

Cici Sandra

In manga, Guy bites Rimuru's ear in the scene he parts the table.

Merueme

Me personally, i love the third season and would call it my favorite. I love the humor, world building and the everyday life of this show. If youre only here for the fights etc, than you will probably be dissapointed.

Phyllis

Bro conveniently forgot Laplace's name and thought Laplace was Kazalim.

Emil Kolev

Lol, just watched it. I was like what :D

Wild Wesley

I agree. I still really like season 3 because even though the Anime's pacing slows way down in the second half, I care enough about these characters that I enjoy them talking in meetings as much as I like the action.

LitTheFire

where is the movie reactioooon

Iruma Mob 100

I wouldn’t worry about it. Rimuru still refers to himself as a guy as does everyone else who knows him. Biologically he is genderless but he views himself as male.
