When I watched NARUTO Shippuden for the first time, I skipped over the backstory of Indra and Asura. But when I watched it a second time, I watched the backstory, and I got more into the whole Naruto story, so I personally recommend Nick to watch the backstory the second time around, or when your schedule allows. This isn't just a backstory, it's an emotion, just like NARUTO itself.

I wouldnt say it's bad but to throw out hundreds of chapters of build up to a final enemy, just to switch to an enemy that had barely any build up just so you could make a sequel is really annoying to me.

To be fair, Kishimoto said himself in an interview when the manga ended that he hed written himself into a corner because he made Madara too strong and he didn't know how to end the series.. But introducing an even stronger character seems about right x)

there are 3 filler arcs watching in shippuden, the kakashi fillers, the itachi fillers, and all of these to do with the otsutsukis, coming from a weeky shippuden watcher back a day, and i watched all them fillers, me and my fellow filler watcherers know true pain
