It wasn't just you. Other reaction chans also missed this, and so I did I. The animation was peak, but they failed to convey better that it's future sight. It takes more than a purple shaded animation to say that. Maybe they should have done a 2 second rewind or something as well.

tbh i think they did well the zoom into the eyes and how they change the color scheme and make it darker just like how they do in some flashbacks it just takes a little focus which sometimes they're too excited to have which is very understandable. and what beckman and shanks say in general could give u an idea. Can't wait to see how the ending of egghead is animated.

Btw, the animation of Shanks and the eye it's because he used future sight... so it confirms that Shanks can see at least 10 SECONDS into the fucking future which is insane, so yeah, he didn't even take out the frogs. Shanks 1-tapped him without any damage to the fleet.

I don't think you noticed but kid actually never destroyed the ships of shanks allies. Shanks saw into the future that's why beckman said 'he saw an ill fated future'.

I still love how they showed off Kidd's power in a way that also highlights how powerful Shanks is, both in terms of Haki, speed and just raw power.

Kid said "I'm gonna destroy you in 10 seconds" and they showed his "attack" but what happened was that shanks literally saw 10 seconds in the future using observation haki (more than katakuri was capable to see)
