Based on the OP and ending visuals were most likely gonna get to the Kaiju Arc and end on a cliff hanger starting the arc much like last season ended on a cliffhanger into a big arc

I think the fact that Okarun beat the Evil Eye with 100 hits is a callback to the start of the series, where Seiko tells him to do 5 sets of 100 for each exercise to train for the fight for Turbo Granny. So he beat a friggin' god with 100 squats.
