I’ll be at my parents tomorrow (Sunday)

So I won’t be uploading the Gachiakuta and new One Piece reaction tomorrow. They will come on Monday instead.

I’ll be uploading One Piece (1122 - 1125) tomorrow though.

I’ll be uploading episodes 1133-1136 of One Piece over the next few Sundays. Filmed them this week. Not gonna drop so many episodes at once!

I dropped Lord of the Mysteries btw. I don’t understand it all. And before people get mad at that, I’m just not interested anymore. I gave it a chance.

It is unfortunate, personally I haven't been this much into a show since AoT! It is slightly more complicated to get into it because of the complexity of the world, but once you get the hang of it after a few eps, It is worth the ride! Perhaps you should reconsider as DUBS just came out and the show is cooking. Cheers

It might be a bit early to say, but the author of Lord of the Mysteries was actually inspired by One Piece's world-building. That influence shows — the world of Lord of the Mysteries is just as vast and limitless, with incredible depth not only in its locations and lore but also in its characters. It has that something an One Piece fan could love, while still keeping its own unique tone, genre, and story. The only difference I think it is the complexity of all that stuff :( Have a great weekend ;( P.S. bro, maybe just a few more eps? :( (?)

To be honest, the best business decision is to prioritize what makes most sense for Patreon, since it brings in almost the same amount yearly as his channel has likely made in ad revenue in its existence. 15.6k patrons is over $560k a year even at the lowest tier. Of course he’d still need to get videos out to maintain patrons coming in, but flat subscriptions pay out a lot more than ads in this case.

well thats good to know .. ive never looked into this and im none of the people who subscribe just for a month .. like i said i have no idea about those things i just found the contradiction funny because at the end whats now happening is: he let us wait for weeks because he wanted to watch multiple episodes at a time and now we have to wait more weeks because he doesnt want to release them at once. also he said "the following sundays" so it reads like 1 "new" episode a week but 1 1/2 months behind. like i said, i dont really care if im waiting or not, cause eventiually ill get the content. it was just funny when i read it.

watching the DUB of LOTM, would fix a lot of the problems. but if u don't care at all then it's pointless... i just believe that LOTM should deffinatly be an exception to the "no pause rule while watching" since it's a story that when it comes to it's world and lore is on a different level not just from other anime and mangas, but also books. a story with such rich world and lore CAN'T be addapted and understood if the reader/watcher doesn't put some effort in it, it's just that MASSIVE as a story... and also... no reader was supposed to get hooked during the first 10 epsiodes (that was the case with the novel tоo, it was boring too) but the final of the season is what got EVERYONE hooked to the story

Okaaay. Watched 5 episodes of lom which is the equivalent of 10-12 episodes of a normal anime. Also there's no recap bs so potentially more. I'd be ecstatic if one of my friends tried a whole 12 episodes of a show I recommended before dropping it

I'm a bit dissappointed since it's what I personally subscribed to your patreon for, and I've heard that the newest episode is the best one so far, I understand though if it's just not for you, I think a show with a world so big if you go in expecting a simple story with simple rules that are outlined in episode 1 like most anime you're just not going to get that, so you have to be comfortable not knowing most things until you watch/read more and have a bigger grasp on the world and surrounding characters. That in itself is a lot for some people, especially people like you that just wanna watch an anime and just be able to relax, have an idea what's going on and just enjoy it. Still loving your other reactions, hope that you return to LOTM later on when it's improved.

it's understandable with LOTM, you watch what you want to watch. But as a guy who's currently only watching a only few of Nick's reactions (OP, Takopi, SAO, EiS, the movies) it's a bit disappointing that One Piece and the movies keeps getting held back. Espcially since Youtube has been able to watch part of EP1122 (Koby's Honesty Impact) already. And Suzume and Kongfu Panda reactions are still missing.

Subbed mainly for OP here... xd Honestly paying just $3 a month is kinda hard, might look not so big a deal for others but God I'm super broke after paying my bills, loans, books and stuff. So I think I get to say I'm disappointed. Before anyone eats my head off for this I work in healthcare field with double degree lol, I ain't no illiterate or jobless, I lead a very very busy life. Nick reactions have been really refreshing me between my shifts.

If Nick gets confused and then disinterested at Lord of Mysteries then he’s probably overwhelming himself. The nuance requires a lot of thinking to understand why they do things, and watching series like One Piece and a ton of other action anime while trying to attempt another big 3 anime would be too much for him. No matter how much I want to see more of my favorite animes reacted to by the realest reactor online, I think we saw his limit, and probably need to suggest to him more slice of life animes or just kicking some off the list. Imagine having a job where you don’t have a scheduled day off, no matter what you do.

And yeah he uploads like 1-2 shows a day that's already insane content for your 3$ but yes maybe you are not here for them, that's all fair but don't come here saying he is lying and whatnot while literally dropping content of everything to make "everyone" happy. Also for the payment you "willingly" pay, you can watch all of the 1100+ Eps reactions of whole OP for 3$. If you can't wait, you can just come back after a while and watch everything he dropped from the start to finish, no one is forcing you to keep being subbed.
