Yeah well Araki did exactly that because his manga was falling off in the 90s. The Monster of the Week archetype allowed anyone to get an issue and start reading without too much knowledge of what's going on. It revived the series funnily enough. I think David Productions should have accelerated the pace though

I think Part 3 is the roughest one to go through for most people. I think Nick is gonna enjoy Part 5 and 6 a lot, idk about 4 it has a slow start too.

Yeah they should’ve, stardust crusaders probably has one of the worst sections in the entire series. And David prod made the pacing even slower, part 3 should’ve been like 8 episodes shorter.

@Conflictor, It's fine to suggest a show get a second chance, I'm all for that. but he just doesn't seem to enjoy it so why continue is all. (and I wouldn't consider myself a fan either, I think it's an ok show, not bad not amazing)

Nice to see JoJo's again. As a reminder, the pacing in this section of Part 3 might be a bit slower than the rest of the show. I don't know if you will continue JoJo but here's another refresher on the show: It keeps changing for the better, from a writing perspective. The animation quality will also improve (and only drop for Part 6 because of circumstances).

Glad to see JoJo back. Just to get the information out there: Currently, there's a new Anime Part on the horizon. This one is called "Part 7: Steel Ball Run" and it's widely considered to be the best manga of all time, if MAL statistics can be trusted. Part 7 is basically known as the best Part, where all the writing and action peak. And I agree. So, if you keep watching the show, and enjoy it (perhaps?), then that could be something to look forward to. Just know that the show keeps re-inventing itself and keeps improving. If you decide that this show is for you, I'm looking forward to this journey :)

There's an uncensored version out there, by the way. I remember that G.O.T Games reacted to it uncensored, for a while. It's probably a matter of taste, which one's more enjoyable.

It's nice to see JoJo back, hope you won't drop it again. Coming back in the middle of PART 3 is not easy, especially without a recap. But If you're persistent you'll see how much it is one of the best piece of work out there, especially with Part 7 coming soon. (btw 2 ep a week would be nice).

I think it would be good if you watched the episodes in parts weekly like if an episode is part 1 you would watch the other parts too, its like an one big episode in my opinion

It can be hard to watch Part 3 because of the pacing but you are at the middle and it'll just get better after these (except for some episodes) oh yeah and maybe try making 2 eps when you feel like you can take it. After this pacing it'll be better

Golden Wind was my favorite part, before I read Part 7. I don't know the details of how they did it, but the animation in Part 5 just stands out from the rest so much. It's amazing!

It’s simply cause part 5 is Japan’s favorite part, or at least originally was back in the day before part 8. So they gathered their best team from the studio, which they’ve now gathered again for Part 7.

You might wanna finish it since technically if you had seen it to understand it for yourself, it has critically the best ending in the whole series and out of any long running series for that matter. It’s essential before the next part 7 that’ll be showcased with its 1st official trailer on the 23rd of this month.
