If Edgeshot’s stitching is actually as good as he says then Bakugo should be fine. He basically received open heart surgery, which is easy to make a full recovery from as long as he didn’t reopen the stitches during the battle (but then retiring would be the least of his worries, he would instead just be dead in minutes).
