Mainly because I actually had expectations for this one. I thought the fights would AT LEAST blow me away. But nah. Super underwhelming

Its 5/10 this episode without even watching it. Reading the Manga was better tbh brother. Id highly suggest reading on pages to better your experience. Sad to say it but they failed us. Just like western gaming companies.

I think this season of one punch man had great art and detail but the animation it’s self is the worst thing I’ve laid my eyes on after tbate If they could combine this seasons art with season 1 animation it would be beautiful

The worst part about the animation is the two fights probably had really good genga but because it was so rushed the final products were absolutely butchered. Especially the second fight holy😭 only hope is that it gets a better studio for season 4 and we can all remember this as a bad dream🙏

If you're not paying attention to the story, why are you even watching? The conversation between Genus and Zombieman is one of the most important moments in the entire series for the story and plot, i know it looks trash, but at least try to pay attention to what they are saying. The animation is trash, so the only thing going for this season is the story, if you're not watching for the story, why are you even watching? I want to see your reactions, but i wanna see your reaction to the plot, not your reaction to every single badly drawn/animated frame of the season.

I think you can't expect to enjoy anything in OPM if you think like you are doing. You are (maybe unintentionnaly) aware of everything not moving or that you don't like and you're getting upset. Even good stuff you can't enjoy as much as before because you had the bad thoughts in mind about the series. Theres a lot of cut that you're shitting on (mostly still talking) but that are in every anime where you don't mention that because you don't have thoughts that you keep getting

I think you are hating a bit too much. The animation is 90% of the episode dogshit but you can see that they really tried to do their best during the fights (this is WAY better than tbate or bluelock S2 action). There were talanted people working on this. I think you should appreciate more what the studio is trying to give us despite the production committees greed.

Just to make sure and to try to stay objective, I went back to Solo Leveling after watching this episode. One second was enough. It is literally not in the same not league, not sport, but in the same Universe. One of them looks like a 6 years old kid made it and Solo is not the one. And the worst thing is, this is probably not a fault of the animators - they are in fact for sure very ashamed of the result - but the greed of the studio.

I had a coworker bring up how bad one punch S3 is in a random conversation yesterday, he pulled up your one frame man clip on YT to show me just how bad it is. He said hes never watched you before that clip but is starting to check you out now Yeah the show is bad but its bringing in new viewers so id say farm those clips and get those viewers

Seriously dude, just read the manga. It is so amazing, I don't really read manga ever but this one kept me hooked, if only for it's gorgeous art. Definitely give it a look, I'd hate for this poorly funded slideshow of an anime season to ruin your perception of One Punch Man.

hey man! just want to say, as someone who's favorite manga is one punch man, and as someone who has been a fan of the series for 10ish years, i want to let you know that i share your sentiment about the anime. i have never seen such an egregious adaptation of such an amazing story. the manga has fights and art *beyond* hype, and, in all honesty? when we get to the actual fights this season, i have no idea how they're possibly going to convey the scale or hype, this studio and director are unfortunately ABSOLUTELY terrible. it's unwatchable, and i'm honestly hurt that my favorite story is being butchered like this. i'm gonna be honest, i think they're going to do some decent stuff for some of the fights, the BIG fights. but it's still going to be so mediocre. there are some amazing moments to look out for, and i think that there's a chance that certain animators like vincent chansard and other awesome animators might get a cut or two on this season, from some talking that i've heard, but i'm really not expecting much.

Instead of spending 20 minutes hate-watching this abomination i would rather use that time for something positiv that gives me joy like gushing over the manga.
