People suggesting episode 119 + 120 of Shippuden before episode 1 are going to ruin the reaction, you will get spoiled on a VERY important character and it's going to make it very obvious early on who he/she is.

By the way there's several fights of this level in Shippuden. The best imo is episode 322, but pain arc kakashi vs obito, and yes naruto vs sasuke too, are all amazing too

Naruto has wayyy more pointless and repeated flashbacks than OP and it has half the canon episodes that of OP so yeah. Agree with the pacing Naruto is alot better but the flashbacks were killing the show for me (especially last arc)

Do NOT watch 119-120 first. Yes it was like that in the manga but it’s not needed to get started with shippuden. Plus, if you don’t start at Episode 1, you’ll miss the hype of the come back! And DO watch the opening!

These episodes were the definition of peak! They snapped with the animation, 133 is legit one of the best episodes of OG Naruto. Bleach and Naruto share the same animation studio so you already know they both always go off. The fact that Nick was emotional witnessing the peak of Goatruto, you haven't seen anything yet just wait till you get to Shippuden, he ain't ready. Gonna be a wild ride 🔥

GOD DAMN I don't think I appreciated Naruto and Sasuke's fight enough when I watch this for the first time (I was a kid tho), but damn that got me hyped and super emotional. It was such a rollercoaster of emotions, pure perfection.
