Sunday and a Half Cup of Sense (Patreon)

A quick Sunday check in.

I finished the draft of the Gala night. I want to let it rest on the room temperature for a couple of days, so far it seems it will be quite fun. If nothing collapses, the Alpha update should land next week.

Thinking about part and branching selection, too many ideas come to mind. To ease some of that, I will probably start with a simple jerry-rigged solution and improve over time. I want you to be able to replay the scene and try both paths, because each has its own flavor. The last one you play will carry the consequences later on, but you will always be able to return to this moment and jump forward to compare the outcomes. I think I can pull that off, but as Amy would say, baby steps.

I still haven't decided what to do about the holiday spirit special. Apart from the story time skip, the problem could be that I might not finish it in time for the actual holidays. But now that Gala is drafted, I will think about it more and jot down some ideas. If it happens, it will be a short standalone non-canon experiment that would be exclusive to Patrons, and I might use some of it in the real timeline or not. It might even happen as a super cliche dream sequence 🙄
