I posted the first ever chapter of Tenebrism on Nov 1, 2008. The story was basically in real time for a little bit! But since it's almost October again, 16 years later (oooouch), I was thinking that my plan is to post the first new chapter of the (HOPEFULLY LAST) revisions of this story on either Oct 31 or Nov 1. People on the discord have reminded me that people actually like this story (I often forget/don't believe this) and even though I am so busy I barely have time for ANYTHING and am moving into "soon to be unemployed again and will be absolutely dehumanized again until I'm not" mode and will have absolutely zero schedule for ensuing chapters , so they'll just get done whenever they manage to get done, I want to fix this story. It hasn't been readable for like 8 years, and I want the entire thing to become an actual real thing again, from start to finish. But I gotta start at the start! And just have to push myself into getting something finished because otherwise I just sit with it too long and never deem it good enough.

Again, this will NOT unhiatus the patreon. You won't be charged anything at any tier. I'll just suggest my ko-fi if you really want to give me money (which I don't feel I can ask for) but basically I'm sticking with Patreon since it's a place to at least collect my writing all together and organize it and also keep if from just being blatantly ai scraped by ever single company on the internet right now. It will also be available for several chapters for anyone at all to read, but then eventually go just member-only for later chapters.

I also am going to eventually reupload the writing content here that used to be hosted on google docs, but see the above thing about having like zero time. Eventually, it will come back (except the commentaries probably).

11 years ago when I discovered your original work, I thought your writing was creative and inspiring in not only the writing itself, but also in the craft that went into the characters' depth, world building, and consistency/alive. Since then I have reread them multiple times with absolute delight every time. You are my favorite author and I have trusted in your craft with never unwilling patience. I truly believe that your "not quite good enough" is perfect from my perspective 💛 No matter the time between chapters, I see it as necessary for you to put yourself first so you can write your best. May you stay healthy and find a new job that is a joy to work at

Thank you so much, that's really kind of you! I'm so glad you really enjoy everything (no matter my view of it haha) but we're often our own worst critics. I'm just glad that it's been meaningful to you to read, and that you've been reading for so long!
