So like I already mentioned, I'm planning to finish up posting this Chiaroscuro chapter (soon...hopefully...) and all the bonus material with it, and then put my Patreon on pause for not less than two months. That includes September, so nobody is going to be 'paying' anything for any of the content this month (since it's technically August's stuff). I owe everybody that much for falling down so hard and so constantly on this.

So September will have stuff being posted but you won't pay, and October will have nothing, and also possibly November - depends on how much work I get done.

What I really want to do is be able to create an actual, feasible, and dependable  schedule. I know I don't write professionally, but I need to treat it professionally if I even want to consider the future possibility of doing so. I know the importance of consistency, but I have done nothing but fail at it, because I'm overly obsessed with the importance of quality. I just can't post things that I don't think are at least 75% up to my own standards, and recently I've been feeling that everything is at about 50%, because of wrestling with "GET THINGS DONE CONSTANTLY!" at the same time as "BUT DO THEM PERFECTLY!" And in the end, I do neither.

So I really need to build a buffer, which is what I intend to do. I also, possibly and probably, will rewrite at least this most recent chapter, because I'm sure that most of my problems with it and why I can't manage to get it done, are that it's not going in the right direction, but I can't take the time to redirect it while also trying (and failing) to keep to a schedule. So I need to write much further ahead than I have been so that I don't get caught it forcing myself to write something that's not working out.

I did this once before and the buffer lasted all of 4 or 5 months, but maybe I should be in a habit of every 6 months taking one month off to build it back up. I won't cite my personal life as one of issues that's affecting me in the quality/quantity of what I'm writing, but it is a big issue, but that's just a lazy excuse. I owe people more than that and nobody really cares what's going on with me personally, I'm promising something and not delivering, and it's really fucking me up constantly with guilt and stress.

So I hope everyone understands, and thank you if you've even bothered to stick with me this long. I'll probably drop text posts here throughout the break, but mostly I'll be on...well, I'm not mostly anywhere, but sort of tumblr and sort of twitter, both with this same username (teromain).
