Mirage: Yal Temen map (chapter 7) (Patreon)

I do love a map and there are enough locations in Mirage now to present...map! This is a map of the entire city, buildings NOT to scale (there are more of them than this) but just to give a general idea of what's going on, how the overall layout is, and where things are in relation to other things.

I actively try to not involve a lot of extra names/terms that aren't needed to be known, in both the story itself and the map here, so right now ALL that is labeled are the various districts of the cities (none of which have been named in the story although several have been seen) and four main locations in the map key - the citadel, the rug shop/Charhanta's place, where Yora (and adjacently Syfoe) live, and the inn that is the current location at chapter 7. They're all spread out and probably easier to find/read in the attachment version!

I'll continually post new maps with new locations/events marked when there are enough of them. I might also discuss some more in-depth aspects in the discord or be nerdy about the naming/language going on here if anyone is interested.

To make this, I used assets generated by watabou's excellent medieval fantasy map generator (which is really useful and cool), pretty much only to get small chunks of buildings that I extremely manually manipulated and placed individually. Yes it took me an untold amount of hours. Fuck genAI at all times!
