Mirage: Chapter Eight (Patreon)

Chapter Eight

Been trying to post this for like three hours but cryptpad has been having a complete tantrum. Hopefully it's even accessible to read! I've also been trying out Ellipsus as a possible place to share chapters, which is definitely less secure and private but doesn't seem to crash and error out as much, is free (for now), and hasn't decided to bow down to AI - not sure how well the sharing aspect works though, but might be testing it out in the future.

Because there's some conlang showing up in this story now, I'll probably make a translation document for this story - I might also combined it with a terms/reference document since there are also a lot of words and titles and such that have come up and it's probably useful to be able to refresh on those since this doesn't post that often.
