Milestone Goal Story #1Wow this was supposed to be posted forever ago and then stuff happened like NaNo and focusing on writing for submissions and I forgot? I'm terrible. But here it is! It was supposed to be a 1k+ story (it's over 4.5k who's surprised) about Keyd playing a video game (the topic that was suggested) that I wrote for when I passed $100/month in donations. So this story is really all for you guys to thank you for helping me out! It's only going to be available on Patreon, nowhere else.

This technically takes place around the same time as the Skiagraphia epilogue (which obviously no one's read yet), which occurs at Alan's parents' house, so it doesn't necessarily have spoilers for Skiagraphia because they don't talk about plot at all, but is kind of a spoiler just for existing. ...

I could /write/ endless amounts of this stuff so I'm glad other people enjoy it too, ahaha. Like I honestly have so many conversations written that I've cut from the story because they're cute but so pointless.

That was very cute. Although it reminds me how weird video games are and how difficult it would be to explain them to an alien. I also second using cute scenes as patreon incentives.

I love how adorkably Alan and Keyd were failing...only to be schooled by Alan's brother. It's endearing seeing Alan's family taking to Keyd like he's part of their family. Adam treating him like another older brother.. :3 I gpt the warm and fuzzies reading this.

I swear I commented on this yesterday, but the internet seems to have eaten it. I'll try again. Keyd is adorable, especially as an angry gamer, and he and Alan totally need their own sitcom of them just doing cute, dorky things together. Or alternatively, you could just write a whole new series comprised entirely of scenes like this. I'm sure nobody here would mind! :p

Video games /are/ really weird, especially when it's like...'oh sure it's a stress reliever and fun...but you're killing people?". Seems like cute scenes like this are wanted from a lot of people so maybe there will end up being more!

That dumb race in that game is incredibly hard if you're not familiar with the game and its wonky controls...the frustration in this scene was born of the first time I played it where I think I spent an hour trying to win -_- And Adam pretty does see Keyd as another older brother, and did right away. But one that he can kind of treat like a 'younger' one since he get to like introduce him to all this cool Earth stuff (since he's the youngest boy in the family he never got to do that with anybody.)

Haha many people seem to enjoy just cute little scenes of them together so I might end up doing more of them! I have lots of random little scenes of them interacting that have been cut, or I just wrote for fun and were never meant to fit anywhere. SO there may be more in the future :)
