Bilge Radić

Jujutsu kaisen or link click

Andre

Naruto

Slant

Depends where Star Wars animation lies

Chase Southerland

NARUTO (possibly skip filler episodes for length reasons)

Andor

Psycho pass would go stupid

Ram.

To Be Hero X please

Jake

Berserk Golden age arc please

Mason Maxie

Yes PLEASE do Naruto it’s literally one of the best things I’ve ever watched not consistently ranked better than attack on titan but it’s up there.

BAKUGOAT

CHAINSAW MAN!

Leppurn

Seven Deadly Sins would be a good watch

Jayden Parker

Hunter x hunter is a really good one

Gabriel Eckstein

Please react to demon slayer such a good show🙏🙏🙏

Bongo

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood would be so fire 🔥 also it’s rather beginner friendly

Dayna Ness

MY HERO ACADEMIA PLEASE

Eggstasyy

it isn’t over so that would be a pointless watch i feel. like he should watch something that is finished already

Louis maltais

You NEED to watch My hero academia or Death note

Pipst7r

Depends what it is, often i’m not a super fan of the trendy Animes, like One Piece, Demon Slayer, AOT, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaizen, etc. The most recent ones i watched was a few movies from Studio Ghibli and a show called My Dress Up Darling.

Faeryn

pls no 😭

Tysten Tomlinson

Should definitely watch Naruto at some point

Dejv27

I’m down to check out an anime once in a while but I hope this doesn’t become an anime channel. I genuinely joined because you DIDN’T watch anime.

Benny

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood!!

David

Death Note! It's only 1 season so it's not a super big commitment.

Lost_

I don’t really watch anime but black clover could be a good watch. Or even your lie in April that one was a roller coaster. Iv only seen 4 anime’s lol

Handsome Squidward Clause

I'm not a massive anime person, but I can recommend one or 2. Death note is really cool. Super intellectual. And Chainsaw man is funny as hell with some badass fights.

Andres Marquez

Guys give him something classic not a modern one he already did aot im not talking about dbz or anything like that like something like……Naruto💀💀💀💀💀💀

Swish

Vinland Saga!!! The only anime that compares to the quality of AOT

Nate Widdup

Cyberpunk wouldn't be bad after aot imo

ZachoTheGreat

Death note, demon slayer, Vinland saga, solo leveling, my hero academia, jujutsu kaisen.. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON 🤩🤩🤩

abiro

Death Note for short one or NARUTOOO pwease 🥺

Jacowab

Full metal alchemist would be awesome

vandi motamedi

Kill la Kill is pretty good not gonna lie

PlatinumInk

My hero Academia please! Or Solo Leveling. I feel like you'd love both! Also yuri on ice if you want somethig that isn't about fighting in the traditional sense- :)

tmalx

Death note or JJK plz!!

Andrew Jansson

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. (And yes there is a difference between FMA:B and FMA!)

Tyler

Sillan Raj

In light of the world cup season we need Blue Lock!!

KitTheKitsune ☆

My Hero Academia, please! I feel like you’d really enjoy it!

John Prado

Alex check out the Dandadan intro. Its legit af

DropBear

Whatever gets decided I have faith in the community here, but just to reiterate PLEASE vote with the LONG TERM in mind!!!! I’m not suggesting my favourite shows because A) they prob don’t win and B) it’s not the best time for them anyways I’m thinking JJK or CSM (short content tho for CSM?) because they’re exactly what Alex needs right now; they’ll act as a perfect bridge to more “mainstream” anime because they’re more mature and gorey and have mature themes and the art style and concepts just everything. Then after 1 of those or both or idfk, you go onto stuf like demon slayer MHA FMAB etc. Please think of the long term and not just 1 more show!!!

Swish

JJK is slop I’m sorry there’s just no story to it just senseless action

7jj0sx

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

David Grundza

I feel like Alex won’t like any long shonen unless he really falls in love with anime

Costa Mathieu

Jjk, chainsaw man or vinland saga would be peak

Madison

The promised neverland!!! And it's only one season!

Miux™

since Star Wars got a poll yesterday I think these are separate things. Probably SW will get any show or movie on Wednesdays and then some Anime replacement on Thursdays

Samvel Karapet

Death Note would be great, completely different from the Shonen genre

Cole Romero

Get this man a romance anime. He’s gonna need it after AOT is done

Karmelo

Chainsaw man, cyberpunk edgerunners (really short), re-zero, steins gate, death note

Luke Cowden

Full metal alchemist brotherhood

Ricky

DEATH NOTE. its short and amazing

Cruz

Naruto would be legendary

Naruda

My Hero Academia, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Demon Slayer, Solo Leveling

DropBear

Agreed but not for his 2nd anime. Would be much better ones he gets a little more into it. Love the show and would be over the moon for him to react to it, but not yet

Brandon

My Hero Academia fo sho!

frybag4420

Cyberpunk edge runners i think would be perfect... Its only 10 epsiodes so would be short and sweet

Aridevo

Demon Slayer is the way, at least before the first movie

Shellyse Bell

Death Note and Vinland Saga would be amazing for you!!

Jordan Grinde

Sentenced to be a hero OR devil May Cry, both 12 episodes Amazing animations

RACCLAND

Start with the anime’s that don’t have too much episodes that you can get through quickly but will definitely get you super into wanting to go back and watch the pioneers like dragon ball and Naruto. I say start with Solo leveling, demon slayer, hells paradise, one punch man, chainsaw man, jjk, Baki,

Lukkus Clementson

Please please watch Jujutsu Kaisen it is so so good you will very much like it I promise you.

Matthew Bailey

One Piece is an awesome Anime to watch. They also have a live action series of One Piece on Netflix.

nouhhh1235

I know its not over but Freiren is amazing, but if you were to watch one that is already finished death note is great.

KenshinXAJ

Cyberpunk edgerunners or super crooks and or sakamoto days

Alex

Fairytale

renny

demon slayer and death note are both very good ones that are on the relatively shorter end!

JaZiiya

Alex would LOVEEE Demon slayer

Jase Wade

Fullmetal. Was my wife's introduction to anime and is widely considered to be the best well-rounded anime of all time. Was number 1 on a couple major lists for like a decade or so. She's watching Attack on Titan right now. Frieren is

JaZiiya

The Shabuya incident is gonna drive him crazy !!!

Alex

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Amayaladon

HUNTER X HUNTER, VINLAND SAGA, OR DEATH NOTE

BroKobe2404

Hunter X Hunter should be your next watch!

Julian Fernandez

Reincarnated as a slime or jobless reincarnation

Mason Escue

Jojos, JJk, Vinland and solo leveling are good

Julien Hebert

Fr dude I feel like jjk is a great next anime for him.

Trey

Solo leveling

Abyss

Death Note, Vinland Saga, or Jujutsu Kaisen. Those are 3 animes that are not long at all and are just a spectacle to watch like AOT. Death Note has a very good story that throws you for loops just like AOT. Vinland Saga doesn’t have big plot twists but has an insanely beautiful story. And JJK will give you some fucking action and badassery you haven’t seen before!

Nate

hate trend take, its not slop. whether u like the pacing and action focus is ur own thing but dont be a negative nancy

Phoenix Williams

BLACK CLOVER OR HUNTER X HUNTER 😩😩😩😩🙂‍↔️

Gryph

Vinland Saga!!! You would love it

Shane

Solo leveling would be a good watch

Rev

Maybe if he did a Naruto Kai or something, or used a filler list lol but ye could be dope

Martin Boehm

Adding another lob for Demon Slayer in here

Tay Tay

of the Ultimate variety?

Kaleb

Bro that’s too long my guy

WEEZY

Cyberpunk

James Lewis

Sword Art Online, Tokyo Ghoul, Elfin Leid, Blue Eyed Samurai, Bleach, or Solo Leveling would be cool!

Jordan Grissom

Either or,I watched them both, and I liked them all the same

Andres Marquez

Almost like i typed it as a joke my guy

Tay Tay

A lot of fantastic suggestions like FMA, Death note, Vinland Saga, JJK or even Hunter x Hunter...but I selfishly really want Jojo's Bizarre Adventure lol

Theo

Cyberpunk, Fullmetal alchemist, code geass , chainsawman , or frieren

Finiket

Vinland Saga pleeeeeaaaassseee

Ethan

Solo leveling or chainsaw man 100000%

logan walker

Hunter x Hunter would be his favorite for sure!

Dooba Dooba

I wonder what Alex likes? Senseless action? Emotion?

Kalyssa Jones

I would love to see more scary movies! Grew up on them and there is a couple I think Alex should watch! 1)Hereditary 2)Midsommar 3)Haunting In Connecticut 2… just to name a few😊 love you Alex, you have put a smile on my face every time I’m in a bad mood, thank you for everything you do!!!

Kaleb

Chainsaw man would be the best for Alex at this moment, it’s not super story heavy and matches him very well. A single season and a movie.

I'm Batman

Absolutely, and I'll campaign for Solo Leveling.

PerplexedNacho

I could see alex loving Naruto, and its about time I did a re-watch, and if alwx ever does and makes it all the too shippuden and the pain arc, I could see alex loosing his absolute shit lmao but thats my suggestion 🙂

Cekaia Miller

I’d literally shit my pants if u reacted to Demon Slayer

Alex Kidwell

You should check out the live-action One Piece on Netflix and see if you're into it. One of the best stories I've ever experienced in any medium.

Fukkyu Bisch

I have a list of anime you could check out, some are easier to understand than others.: FMAB (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) - easily top 10 easiest anime for beginners to the medium Death Note- not as easy as FMAB, but definitely easier than some others out there Code Geass: I only recommend watching this after you get a couple more anime under your belt and have a way to react that works for everyone, that means paying attention to details and pausing the show to talk. Blue Exorcist: easier than Code Geass, about the same level as Death Note in terms of complexity

Fukkyu Bisch

There are others ai think you might like, but we'll dive into them later.

Fukkyu Bisch

ALSO, ALEX, BEFORE YOU START A NEW ANIME SERIES YOU NEED TO, AND i IMPLORE YOU, TO WATCH THE AOT OVAS, ESPECIALLY NO REGRETS. ANYONE WHO LIKES OR ADMIRES LEVI NEEDS TO WATCH NO REGRETS, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND HIS MOTIVATIONS MUCH BETTER.

JHenry_84

Death note, erased, another. Something goated and semi quick

Aqua

It was my second Anime after one punch man and it got me hooked

Niko

JUJUTSU KAISEN

X HYDRA X

Im glad as long it is not a long ass anime

Monet Shanta

Please do Full metal alchemist! It's just as amazing at AOT

nesh

Full Metal or Hunter x Hunter if he down for a longer series. Short tho he gotta do Death Note

Unnerving92

Tokyo Ghoul... It's short and sweet. Would give your brain a break for sure lol

CamoLive

Depends what anime it is, AoT is a super western anime so you might want to stick to that realm. Like Vinland Saga, Death Note etc.

Willow

I would kind of love to see a reaction to Outlaw Star, although I know it's not particularly popular haha.

Devin House

HunterXHunter Solo Leveling Demon Hunter

Jake Swan

Call me crazy but I say the Ghost Stories season 1 dub, it’d be funny to watch you go from the best anime to the most unhinged one, it was originally very serious but didn’t do well in the Korean sub so they told the American voice actors to keep the plot and character names but everything else was fair game, it’d only be 20 episodes

Addison Hanchett

I absolutely agree. He’ll be hooked immediately

SirLagginton

We need to ease him into anime, something like Demon Slayer or similar. If we put him on some of the main anime’s he’s gonna get put off so fast

Yrlx

My hero academia for sure, especially how great the last season was

DonnieBoi TV

youre gonna need a poll for that one lol

VII Cany

something that isnt too long or unfinished. death note is good, cyberpunk is also a quick and amazing idea since its only 10 episodes and the next one is being made

Ben Pollard

It's definitely something Alex would love

Mercedez

Demon slayer or Naruto if you use a filler list and don’t mind doing a longer show

AJ

MY HERO OR NARUTO!!!!

Faeryn

everyone saying mha pls keep in mind we’re about to get finished with a long ass anime and mha is equally as long… I know some of yall love anime but with the length of some of these shows it’ll be ages before he takes a break from the genre and there’s a lot of different shows people have been trying to get him to watch for a long time. it’d be a fair common ground to maybe pick a shorter anime (solo leveling, for example) then maybe open a poll for a non-anime show, that way everyone wins

r3

so tired of anime

AJ

NARUTO

AJ

I AGREE

AJ

MY HERO ACADEMIA!

Maximo

Naaah, come on guys wtf

7jj0sx

Pretty pls

GoneBats

What about the Studio ghibli movies? If you want to keep that anime route but also a movie! Spirited Away and Ponyo are my personal favs!

Nia

My hero academia

𝐟𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐲

100% vinland saga. Imo the only thing that stands close to aot. Also its more up alex's alley in terms of themes and writing

Oneil Anderson

My hero academia please it’s so good and it just ended

Erick

Demon Slayer or JJK will definitely work best for Alex. Gotta ease him into the anime world people.

Ishi

Sorry Alex but you started this anime train and you are not going to get off and we will recommend really good ones we promise

Ishi

I would say Naruto but Naruto is way too long even though it's really good. I'm trying to think of something that's kind of in the middle

willnow

You should 100% watch chainsaw man. It’s the perfect anime for you that you’ll love

Ethan Gray

Plz finish daredevil🙏🏼

Sebastian Fuentes

Dang ain’t nobody want dragon ball? Alex would absolutely love tournament of power

VISION

guys solo leveling pls its a short anime and its a good starter

Carson

one punch man or naruto

Kaleb

would be great

Jacob Kent

All the other suggestions I have seen aren't done coming out with episodes so once he catches up we'll all be waiting like alex but for dubs, yet waiting longer for the reactions. I suggest a dubbed completed anime like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Bleach, Naruto, Inuyasha, maybe Berserk

desmend

DEATH NOTE

Caio Machado

To your eternity, frieren and Vinland saga are some of the best recent animes

BrianHobbit7

Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood please

Cannon Hosley

Fullmetal alchemist is a goated one def should be next

Cannon Hosley

Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood or would be great to watch next

Caleb Boast

Demon slayer or My Hero Academia (Anime of the year btw)

Ivanlady

1. Demon Slayer 2. Solo Leveling 3. Chainsaw Man. Whatever you want to watch first their all great.

Jonas

Zoey King

DEMON SLAYER PLEAAAASE

0333igi

Ethan Gant

You need to watch Naruto at this point

KrimzonHawka

Does Pantheon or Castlevania count, since they're Western Animations?

Castro

Gothberg

Mya

X3TRiller

Vinland saga would be peak

Heidi Kimball

My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Death Note, or Jujutsu Kaisen would be great! 😁

Espritlumiere

Peter Moe

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

rebecca

solo levelling !!!

N1ls N.

Mob Psycho 100

TupperwareContainer

I think chainsaw man would be right up your alley for your second show

Sanctus

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Top 5

Koojah

Death note!

Setsuna22

Yes! Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 🩷 Please look at how many episodes are in these anime suggestions before you put them in a future poll. Many have several hundred episodes or close to it. I would suggest maybe one that's under 100

Setsuna22

Yeah, and people are also out here saying Naruto. We'll be here for 50 years if we do that

Setsuna22

It's a bazillion episodes long, we'd be here for years

Ben Daone

Hunter x hunter is mine and a lot of people's favourites

ShotaBoyLover

Indeed, everyone finds Hunter X Hunter has the hottest boys in anime!

Ricky

Too long for now

Hammerdude

oh God, thought to myself FINALLY we can vote for no more anime.! Guess i was wrong. Can't for the life of me get into it. 😂

Naadir

Totally agree — it’s short, full of action, and it made me want to get into more anime... :D

Jace Dixon

Yes and honestly since u have started with attack on Titian here is a three recommendations JJK/ jujutsu kaisien Demon slayer Solo leveling These are all action packed and have great animation and are shorter shows obviously up to you but all good picks that seem up your alley

Naadir

Spy x Family is a fun, wholesome mix of comedy, action, and family moments. Is easy to watch even if you’re not usually into anime. Short, funny, and full of charm — definitely recommended.

Tigerclaw

Was my first ngl and I loved it

Ghostface

I voted no because i hate anime lol really not my thing. But the only one i ever loved was death note. So I’m okay for that one

Dorran

Cowboy Bebop!

Faeryn

I also saw one person say one piece 😭

Janicah23

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD JUST 60 EPS+ THEN YOU CAN GO ON TO MORE NEWER STUFF.

abel ramos

Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, sword art online, jjk. all great ones

Clipme_

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD

Jarandjar

Monster, seriously good

Ryan Coughlan

Please for the love of god either demon slayer or Jujutsu kaisen. Both are extremely good, their stories aren’t as incredible as AoT but the characters are way more lovable plus they both have INCREDIBLE animation, particularly demon slayers who’s best known for it

ThatGuy 2219

Watch the time I got reincarnated as a slime!!!!! I think you'd love it

Koojah

Death note

Bedwars Master

Takopi's Original Sin (joking im not a monster)

Wooty

I agree. Honestly the eating old fingers thing grossed me out of it. Ive watched clips since but its just not for me.

Rick

Naruto would be the greatest thing for Alex to watch, ever. But that's way too many episodes guys. we would sit here for like 2 years.

booger

ill watch anything thats dub..

s!lver

Death note or demon slayer perhaps

Permonia

Honestly, yes but keep in mind that some anime recommendations you’re going to get are quite lengthy. Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Bleach, etc, they’re long and were meant to be watched like morning cartoons before you go to school. I feel like the experience isn’t quite the same when you react to them for YouTube. I suggest anime films (so studio ghibli for example) or shorter animes that have more of a blockbuster-like feel; Solo Levelling, Jujutsu Kaisen, Castlevania (it’s not an anime per se but it’s a really good animated tv show). I love your reaction to shows but sometimes if it’s a bit too long, I feel like it takes up a lot of space (mentally). At the end of the day though Alex, always pick whatever you think is best!

Reisan Cosplay

FULL METAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD! <3

Kim Ross Jensen

Yes, and it's also easier for new anime watchers

TAylor

Solo leveling!

Alissa Slenes

nah my hero is perfect it fits with the theme for anime, and the theme for the boys. he already accustom to superhero, might as well keep with the theme. it would be perfect to add right now.

Kim Ross Jensen

You clearly enjoyed AOT, so of course we need more anime, you need to watch one of the big three at some point, not yet tho, you should watch death note next.. but when the time comes, I hope Naruto wins, I do believe thats more your style than One piece and Dragon ball

Gypsysoul

JJK but honestly I'd love if more people watched Black Clover! 🖤🍀

I'm Just Zaiyan

Because this is Anime, anything goes for Alex, just as long as it is finished, instead of ongoing

Althea Solis

Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer

lexie

naruto or demon slayer !

Taylor

Vinland saga please!!! My next watch anyways so that’d be great

Atlas

Akame ga kill I think would be up your alley

Lim E-Sean

Haikyuu, the character development of the entire cast in the show is something Alex will definitely like and have some thoughts on, would make for an awesome reaction

Drew

Naruto

Hjalte

Solo leveling

Nowhere

Hey Alex I recommend finding 4 anime your interested in and doing a poll for those poll but you really shouldn’t do solo leveling (known for aura farming without a good story or characters) or demon slayer it’s a good anime but there are many better and that’s not just my opinion that’s just the general consensus and you shouldn’t do anything not finished in my opinion and if you wanted my opinion I would say do a poll between death note, code geass, full metal alchemist and steins gate they are both amazing anime’s and general consensus is their some of the best anime ever and their deep and complex like attack on titan but once again that’s just what I personally think.

𝖒𝖔𝖈𝖍𝖎⟢— ᢉ𐭩

Death Note is a MUST!!!!! and it’s only 1 season so it would be a quick one. it’s more of a psychological thriller and it’s a classic. definitely a must watch

Mika R

Solo leveling!

Ebony

death note! its not too long and its easy to get into

Ken

Baccano would be good, i think you would enjoy the English voice acting of American accents in early-mid 1900s (the setting of the show not that the show is from that time)

Dragon Boy

my hero academia or hajime no ippo really great animes

NattyK99

Solo leveling or Sword Art Online would be a solid first power fantasy!

Auntie M

Of course! Looks like it's between Demon Slayer and Death Note. Never seen Death Note. I also love Solo leveling. Can't wait to see what wins!

Alyknos

buddy wants alex to stop watching anime

Cuhs

Yeah and theres many you would love animes like JJK Tokyo Ghoul Death Note Solo Leveling Naruto Mob Psycho 100 Etc These are really good anime's you need to watch.

XR3op

Demon slayer, solo leveling or chainsaw man

Praetor

Cyberpunk edge runners. Hear me out it’s just one season and after that he can move on to another big anime

Wolffe5989

JJK is great just because you don’t like and can’t be bothered to take in the story doesn’t mean Alex won’t like it. If JJK was rly that bad it wouldn’t be one of the most popular anime’s airing rn if it didn’t hook people

Self development

not good after aot the best is vinland or death note

Kaioshin Animations

cyberpunk edgerunners would be another amazing introductory to anime, its short and its fucking peak

Hannah Kim

My hero academia, think Marvel but anime and with a HUGE variety of powers! It just finished recently (I think) PLUS the creator, Horikoshi, was a HUGE Marvel fan, so I think this is right up your alley, Alex!

la kay

Some gems in the rough —> Mob psycho Cyberpunk Edgerunner Blue exorcist A promised neverland Darling in the Franxx One punch man Dandadan Jujutsu Kaisen

T_Wizzle

Cyber punk edgerunners is perfect and short for Alex

Mo

Overlord, Re-Zero, Tanya the Evil, Konosuba, and Jobless Reincarnation. The peak of Isekai anime. Honorable Mention: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Doesn't matter which one first, these will get you hooked for a while.

you uncultured swine

eighty six would be a fantastic follow up to AOT but it's not available on crunchyroll or netflix anymore which is a really big shame because its truly a masterpiece of action and storytelling. with heart wrenching and heartwarming moments a 10/10 anime and my favorite

Tovick

I agree on death note, though, for Alex i feel Seven deadly sins might work because of some of the characters interactions?

Alexandre Bégin

Given people want more and are primed to help you out finding the good stuff, it's a matter of what vibe do you want next Alex? Timeless masterpieces, Shonen (the dragon ball, naruto, one piece of this world, word means teenage boy), dark gore or psychological or both shows, high-octane/low octane. Screw Artificial intelligence, use natural intelligence right here! ask away! You need an Anime Sommelier

Cohen Boak

it's too long for a 2nd anime

Nihil

A Silent Voice 🥹 Would be a really amazing reaction, it's a movie, so it's a quick thing but it's something you wouldn't want to miss

Maisie

A short show please. As someone who does like attack on Titan or walking dead, the past year has been pretty boring, I'd prefer more variety.

Pluto

Give him the good shit y'all

Zachary Kruger

JJBA would be funny, but I feel like it’s too early in his anime journey to enjoy that show. Plus it is really long. I think a short anime would be best.

Zachary Kruger

Yo, Super Crooks! It’s been a while since I’ve seen anyone mention that show. It was surprisingly good.

jack

Jjk

David Coates

My god, please not Naruto. It's had 720 episodes. I'd rather Alex see some shorter anime series before he commits to crazy long one again. I think Death Note, JJK, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw main are all great suggestions.

Ardi

After Attack on Ttian, your best anime would be: - Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It's super funny, has a lot of action, deep lore and is somewhat set in the same timeline as Attack on Titan. (Between WW1 and WW2) - Vinland Saga is a really good pick. Season one is jam packed with action and season 2 goes really really deep into how a person act after facing death and destruction. - Solo Levling if you just want pure action and really good animation. The story is ok at best, but it's a lot of fun watching and short. - Frieren is probably one of the most beautiful anime you'll ever see. Tho I would probably wait with Frieren until after you've watched Lord of the Rings. It just hits harder if you've seen LotR. I belive you said you like Wrestling, or Boxing? If so, "Hajime no Ippo" is fucking fantastic and probably the funniest anime I've ever seen, and the humor is right up your alley. A lot of dick jokes. A lot of people will say watch Death Note (It's fucking fantastic), but I honestly think you need a bit more time with anime before watching it, same with Code Geass. They are both so deep in lore and talking, that the tiniest missed thing could make you be completly lost, and I say this as someone who puts Code Geass as my #2 anime.

Zachary Kruger

Perhaps like Kaguya-sama: Love Is War? The dub is hilarious too, so I think Alex would enjoy it.

Maksymilian Kurowski

Petition for: Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist Botherood or Assaintion Classroom. I think the first two would be good after aot and Assassination classroom would be fun and mysterious for alex to watch and a nice change of pace.

Lordweirdo411

The anime Lord of mysteries is as good, if not better, then attack on titan

Giovanni Lara Conde

Cyberpunk Edge Runners, quick 10 episodes that will leave you empty inside

Maddie Hayes

YES!! Demon Slayer or My Hero Academia please!!

Loki von Shili

death note next would be awesome, it is short and very good

TC999

(Watch anime film called Your Name. This an awesome anime movie.) But these are all good so take your pick my guy - Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Initial D, SAO, Demon slayer, Solo Leveling, Tokyo Ghoul, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man.

Jessie Aguilera

Death note!! I hope youre as mad at the szn 2 as i am 😂

john

I second this cruel suggestion

Balenci

PLEASE DEMON SLAYER PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Mayra Torres

Anime movies too! Like Spirited Away

bxqlash

Death Note. FMAB. Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Neon Genesis Evangelion. Code Geass. Bleach. Cowboy Bebop.

Michael

Demon slayer hands down

DropBear

idk how people are saying shit like MHA for his 2nd anime. I fucking love MHA, FMA:B is in my top 3, but lets be hones those are more "kiddish" out there anime centres around powers and yelling and all that crazy anime stereotype stuff. I wouldnt show those to someone as their first or 2nd anime. I adore JJK and CSM but they're not in my top 3, but I think they'd be perfect for Alex's 2nd anime. They're gritty, gorey, great action, good story, awesome and more mature art style, more serious/realistic views and discourse and all that, deep concepts, list goes on. After something like that to get him more hype, THEN you go into shit like Naruto (too long, but I mean that style or w.e) MHA FMA:B Dandadan demon slayer and on and on

"ed...ward? can we play big brother?" lmao my buddy and I will randomly say that to one another every like 6-8 months, just to make the other person suffer through the PTSD of it all 😂😭. Then you forget about it and live happily until BOOM one of us remembers and says it again hahahaha oh man, fucking truly awesome show

Charles Martin

Dragon Prince is really good and so is Ted Lasso, it is straight up Alex's humour and I think he would love both those shows.

Rachel Trainor

Action, emotion, and his kinda humor lol

polybeast96

Death Note is only 37 episodes; I think that would be a fun watch!

Seppi D.

Death Note ist the one

Jacob Kent

True but how long did it take for the movie to come out after season 1 and we're still waiting on season 2. With how long it's taking between seasons and movies, alex will completely forget the show exists.

Nexus Poynt

I know Naruto might be too long but I hope he watches it either after AOT or after a few other anime.

Sympotaz

I am not even going to reccomend anAnime///

Cory

JJK or Demon Slayer would be awesome

stephen sanders

How am I not seeing Cowboy Bebop in these comments?

Lil j

Nah demon slayer cuz it’s almost finishing soon with the last 2 movies

Jamie Richardson

Chainsaw man!! I think you’ll love it dude Plus its a short series with one movie so you would catch up very fast

Torbjörn Browser

It's actually really quick. And one of the best ones.

Kathryn Kerr

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Kill la Kill. For anime movies: Summer Wars, Wolf Children

Death note or Mushoku Tensei jobless reincarnation. Maybe some Tokyo revengers or ereased is really good. Or something like eminence in shadow... akami ga kill.

X HYDRA X

Yoooo vinland saga is the best option you can possibly make... IT IS LIFE CHANGING!

X HYDRA X

Variety is what he is doing right now...

X HYDRA X

Do you really think that every anime is the same?

X HYDRA X

I agree on death note

X HYDRA X

I would say there are 3 key aspects that anime and non-anime fans look for a anime show: 1. Different genres: There is anime for almost everyone: action, romance, comedy, horror, sports, fantasy, and more. 2. Themes and life lessons: Many anime explore friendship, perseverance, sacrifice, identity, and other meaningful topics. 3. Beautiful animation: The art style and action scenes can be visually impressive.

Demi

Something shorter please with less episodes. Maybe Ghost Stories? Its critically acclaimed.

NawgDawg

Lol I think the community just wants more anime always you can never go wrong lol

Bonci

Food wars is good

Bonci

Kakegurui is good and the most recent live action is pretty good

jcee35 S

Death Note is a great palette cleanser after the insane web of storytelling that AOT has.. I feel like it will satisfy that hunger Alex has for an Anime that will keep him wanting to binge the show

LowkeyCori

Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, FMA or Naruto

Jacob

Demon slayer is a good choice]

Tasha

Assassination Classroom

Jeremiah

Death note or solo leveling

Jack

Watch Steven universe, it actually has some pretty interesting and sometimes dark lore

Gorilla

Assassination classroom is in my opinion the next best place to start

DropBear

Yeah but it’s too soon. He needs a more “mature” (like 16+ or whatever n think is the rating in Japan) show like jjk or CSM Like I wouldn’t go from showing Alex — who thought he’d hate anime because screaming and over the top kiddish stuff and powers and all that — demon slayer or MHA right after AoT. He needs a show like jjk or CSM or something similar. They’re the perfect bridge. Then you go into shit like FMAB or MHA or all that. I’d love for him to react to those but definitely not as next anime. Gotta think long term. He might do a long break from anime if #2 isn’t the exact “right” fit *for the particular circumstances*

DropBear

He was saying he thought he’d hate anime because he was expecting all this over the top yelling and being extra and superpower bs, and you want him to do MHA lol FMAB, demon slayer, MHA, some of my all time favourites but no way in hell would I recommend to someone like Alex for 2nd anime. Mark my words if a more dark grimey macabre funny dark comedy good action great story/dialogue and intriguing mature complex characters anime isn’t chosen next as a bridge between the two “styles” (or whatever) then he’s gonna take a loooong break from anime

Seth Brown

Kaguya Sama: Love is War pls

Mariah Moon

I think if we keep the mix of one day for anime and another for a television show, it will be a good balance. Naruto would be too long... but MHA is around the same length of AOT and I'm sure you'd love it.

Gia Blu

Demon slayer is not even close to being kiddish lol I feel like Jjk is a bit too complicated for him to really understand especially season 2 with the shibuya arc fights. Demon slayer is perfect and has both funny moments but also impactful moments with the art style. Not only that but this is Alex we’re talking about and has literally watched children movies like shrek.

Gia Blu

DEMON SLAYER!! sooooo funny, art style BEAUTIFUL, fighting scenes AMAZING, the story telling makes you rethink everything about anime!!

Epicmick

Vinland saga or full metal alchemist brotherhood are pretty great reaction animes. But literally anything would be dope cause I love anime and love your reactions! 🤙🏼

Pipst7r

Yeah, i’m not a huge fan of anime, but the movies from Studio Ghibli would been fun! Or Vikings, have wanted him to watch that show for soooo long. It’s insane how it hasn’t come close in the poll. It’s literally a 10/10 show. Same with the movies Rambo and Rocky, how, just how! Those aren’t 10/10 but more like 8.5-9/10

Faeryn

I would love watching some of those with alex! howls moving castle is a must

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood PLEEEEEEASE!!!

Exu f0x

Are you crazy?? We just got AOT in dub, so the next should be in sub, that way he at least tries to please everyone and i know he prefers it in dub but i genuinely think he will enjoy Death Note 1000% more in sub, as the Voice Actor for main character (not saying the name to not spoil anything) is GOATED.

Dustin Huckeba

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is what I 100% recommend for most people getting into anime. There's a reason its still rated so highly even against new animes. Whatever you go with, I would choose something that's done and not still releasing.

Adam Sumner

ALEX WE NEED DEATHNOTE, ITS THE BEST FIRST ANIME

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood!!!

Technically a western but LEGEND OF VOX MACHINA!!!!!!!!!!!! It's right up his alley too

Emily

If I were to make any suggestions, it'd be Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Psycho-Pass. FMAB is a show that incorporates alchemy into a society where the ruling body is the military, filled with conspiracies and political intrigue. It also explores themes of war, morality, the consequences of one's actions, and what people are willing to sacrifice to achieve their goals. Psycho-Pass, on the other hand, is a sci-fi, dystopian psychological thriller that follows detectives in a world where people can be arrested based on the likelihood of them committing crimes. It explores the moral question of whether people should be free to make their own choices when there's a system that claims it can best determine where you should be situated in society, and examines the perspectives of both those who live by and enforce the system and those who have been discarded by it.
