HypnoOverlay just got a new update!

This version is focused on making the whole experience feel smoother, cleaner, and more polished before it starts. There is now a cinematic startup intro, a cleaner tabbed settings window, and a proper Start button so everything feels more intentional when launching the overlay.

What’s new:

Cinematic startup intro before the overlay begins

Settings now open after the intro

Saved overlay playback does not start before the intro/settings flow

Cleaner tabbed settings window

Start button instead of Apply

Panic hide hotkey: Ctrl + Alt + P

Small status popups for things like mute, opacity, and overlay hidden/shown

Performance mode for lighter effects

Picture advertising strips

Text strips, popups, static/glitch bars, and effect controls

Improved Discord status support

Settings now save properly in AppData, so moving the EXE will not break your setup

Important notes:

HypnoOverlay works best with borderless-windowed or windowed-fullscreen games. Some exclusive fullscreen games or anti-cheat systems may block overlays.

If something looks weird, try lowering opacity, enabling Performance Mode, or using borderless-windowed mode.
