I think everything changes without Chewbacca here, I think without him adding comedy to the tone of the episode, Ahsoka actually has to ask herself some tough questions on if she's willing to set aside Jedi teachings to protect not just herself, but people weaker than herself, or what if the other Jedi kids could only survive by breaking the rules and force choking them, even if Ahsoka herself doesn't, then she could have a secret of her own to gradually shape her character, I think the way it actually shook out, she committed to being a "good" detatched Jedi and doesn't feel guilty about stopping the force choke

"Rey Palpatine", even setting aside the concept, on just a NAME level is a poorly considered collection of syllables to say out loud, so change the birth name to some Star Wars spelling of "Rachel", of course, going a further and re-writing the end of that wretched movie, Sheev says, "You're Rey Palpatine" and she says, "No, my name is Darth Shiv" "Wh-" And she has killed him with a Light Dagger she constructed on the fly out of a shard of Kyber crystal from one of his ships

You know, there was a Mutagen bomb plotline in the TMNT IDW comics. A big chunk of NYC was turned into mutants and they walled off that part of the city. Just animal people everywhere. Fun stuff.
