Daeva Binder (Thaumaturge Archetype)
Veilweaving: A daeva binder has learned to harness the powers of the daeva, allowing them to shape akasha into powerful veils. The daeva binder chooses a single mental ability score (Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma) and uses it as their veilweaving modifier, and has a veilweaving level equal to their class level. The saving throw DCs of the daeva binder’s veils are equal to 10 + the essence invested in the veil + the daeva binder’s veilweaving modifier.
This replaces the thaumaturge’s casting, spell pool, and magic talents class features
Esoteric Veils: Rather than drawing their veils from a predefined list, each daeva binder develops their own unique selection of veils based on their interests and the powers of the daeva they have bound. At 1st level, the daeva binder chooses a number of veils equal to their veilweaving modifier + 2 (minimum 2) and treats those selected veils as their veil list. At each level thereafter they choose an additional 2 veils and add them to their veil list. This ability does not allow the daeva binder to shape veils shaped to esoteric chakra, such as Blood or Ring veils.
Veils Shaped: At 1st level, the daeva binder can shape one veil. They gain the ability to shape an additional veil at 2nd level, and every 3 levels thereafter.
Essence Pool: At 1st level, the daeva binder gains access to a pool of essence. They gain 1 point of essence at 1st level, and gain another point of essence at every level thereafter.
Forbidden Binding: Daeva binders use bargains, magical compulsions, secrets, and dangerous magical practices to harness power from the powerful and mysterious outsiders known as daeva that they have bound to their soul and essence. At any time, the daeva binder may choose to treat one of their veils as if it were invested with an additional 1 point of essence for 1 minute. This increase can cause a veil to be treated as if it were invested with more essence than the daeva binder’s maximum essence capacity, and stacks with similar abilities such as an akashic catalyst. The amount of effective essence investment increases by +1 at 3rd level, 5th level, and by an additional +1 for every 4 levels thereafter.
When the daeva binder uses forbidden lore to enhance their veils, there is a 15% chance the thaumaturge will suffer backlash; the veil is not invested with additional essence and is instead disjointed for 1d4 turns. In addition, the daeva binder suffers a -1 penalty to attack rolls, saving throws, and skill checks, which lasts until they rest or meditate to shape their veils for the day. This penalty is cumulative; every time the daeva binder suffers backlash in a day, these penalties increase by 1.
Abilities, invocations, and feats that determine their effects based on the daeva binder’s forbidden lore bonus, treat the amount of effective essence granted as the numerical bonus of their forbidden lore bonus.
This modifies the thaumaturge’s forbidden lore class feature.
Invocations: A daeva binder uses their veilweaving modifier in place of their casting ability modifier when determining the effects of their invocations and the number of daily uses of the ability they have. Additionally, the following invocations replace some of the invocations available to the thaumaturge:
Akashic Blessing: At 1st level, when the daeva binder affects one or more allies (treating themself as an ally) with a veil benefiting from their forbidden lore, they may spend an invocation to cause the affected allies to gain 1 temporary hit point per thaumaturge level for 1 round per thaumaturge level. If one of their veils benefits themselves or their allies as a constant effect (such as an aura), the daeva binder may use this ability at any time on their turn as a free action.
Akashic Assault: At 1st level, when the daeva binder affects one or more foes with a veil benefitting from their forbidden lore, or damages a foe with a weapon or natural attack granted by a veil benefitting from their forbidden lore, they may spend an invocation to cause the affected targets to become sickened for 1 round. A successful Fortitude save negates this effect.
Empowered Veil: At 3rd level, when the daeva binder spends an action to make an attack roll using a veil (whether it be a special attack, or an attack made using a manufactured or natural weapon created using a veil), they may use an invocation to grant themselves a bonus to attack rolls equal to his forbidden lore bonus for a number of rounds equal to their veilweaving modifier.
Veiled Defense: At 3rd level, when the daeva binder empowers one of their veils using their forbidden lore, they may spend an invocation to grant themself a dodge bonus to AC equal to their forbidden lore bonus.
Flexible Veil: At 15th level, the daeva binder may spend an invocation to immediately shape a veil they know of their choice for 1 minute. This veil does not count against their number of shaped veils and does not count against the slot it is shaped into, allowing it to be shaped alongside other veils in the same slot. If they can bind that veil to the slot they shape it into, they treat the veil as bound for this duration. The daeva binder may only have one use of flexible veil active at one time; using this invocation again replaces the veil shaped with the newly chosen veil.
This replaces the thaumaturge’s lingering blessing, lingering pain, empowered attack, empowered defense, and flexible caster invocations.
Chakra Binds: At 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter, the daeva binder unlocks chakra binds in the following order: Hands, Feet, Head, Wrist, Shoulders, Headband, Neck, Belt, Chest, and Body.
Bonus Feats: In addition to the normal options available to the daeva binder when selecting their bonus feats, the daeva binder may select Basic Magical Training, Advanced Magical Training, or any Akashic feat using their bonus feats.
This modifies the thaumaturges bonus feats, but is not considered to be modifying them for the purposes of archetype compatibility.

Special: This feat can be selected multiple times, granting you the ability to bind veils to the esoteric chakra slot granted by an additional selection of Shaper of Esoteries.
Essence Catalyst (Elementalist Archetype)
Catalyze Akasha: At 1st level, the essence catalyst gains the Veilweaving sphere as a bonus magic talent and uses their class level as their caster level with the Veilweaving sphere. This stacks normally with caster levels gained from other sources. If they already have the Veilweaving sphere, they may select a Veilweaving talent of their choice instead.
This replaces the elementalist’s weave energy class feature.
Abundance of Essence: At 1st level, the essence catalyst gains 1 point of essence. They gain an additional point of essence at 3rd level, and every 2 levels thereafter.
Essence Catalyzation: At 3rd level the essence catalyst begins to catalyze the essence within their bodies, automatically empowering their essence receptacles. The essence catalyst treats a number of essence receptacles up to their elementalist level as if they were invested with one additional point of essence which bypasses their normal essence capacity. At 9th level, and again at 15th level and 20th level, the amount of additional essence increases by one. The essence catalyst may change which of their essence receptacles benefit from this ability each time they reallocate their essence. This ability does not stack with other abilities that treat an essence receptacle as if it were invested with additional essence, such as an akashic catalyst.
This replaces the elementalist’s favored element class feature.
Catalyzed Resistances (Su): At 5th level, the essence catalyst can catalyze essence within their skin, allowing them to better resist elemental damage. The essence catalyst can invest essence in this ability, gaining resistance to acid, cold, fire, and electricity equal to the amount of essence invested. At 11th level, this resistance increases to twice the essence invested. At 17th level, this resistance increases to three times the essence invested.
This replaces the elementalist’s elemental defense class feature.
Catalyzed Maneuverability (Su): At 7th level, the essence catalyst can catalyze the essence within their body to drastically increase their maneuverability. The essence catalyst can invest essence in this ability, granting them a 5 foot increase to all of their modes of movement per point of essence invested. This increase is an enhancement bonus.
This replaces the elementalist’s elemental movement class feature.
Catalyzed Sight (Su): At 13th level, the essence catalyst can catalyze essence within their eyes, allowing them to sense the essence that makes up the world. The essence cataly can invest essence in this ability, granting them blindsense with a range equal to 5 feet times the number of points of essence invested. If another creature enters the area of their blindsense, the essence catalyst immediately learns the amount of points of essence that essence has available to them, the number of veils they have shaped and the number of essence receptacles they posses, and the amount of essence invested in those essence receptacles. At 19th level, this ability grants blindsight instead of blindsense.
Catalyzed Soul (Su): At 20th level, the essence catalyst has catalysted their essence within their soul, immortalizing their body and protecting their essence. The essence catalyst gains an immunity to death effects and negative levels and no longer suffers ability score penalties from aging and cannot die from old age. If they had any penalties from aging, they immediately lose those penalties. They still accrue bonuses gained from aging. In addition, whenever the essence catalyst would suffer essence burn they recover the burned essence at the beginning of their next turn.
This replaces the elementalist’s energy body class feature.
Infinite Armory (Armorist Archetype)
Armory of the Infinite: At 1st level, the infinite armory gains the ability to shape the Armory of the Infinite veil. This veil does not count against their normal limits on veils shaped, or their veil slots. They use their casting ability modifier as their veilweaving modifier for this veil, and their character level as their veilweaving level with this veil. When shaped in this way, the Armory of the Infinite is always treated as if it were invested with a number of points of essence equal to the veil’s maximum essence capacity. If the infinite armory’s Armory of the Infinite is unshaped, they can reshape the veil by meditating for one hour.
Summoned Armaments: At 1st level, whenever the infinite armory uses their Armory of the Infinite veil to draw an item from they veil, rather than applying an enhancement applied to the veil to the item they can choose to spend 1 spell point and treat it as if it were an item summoned using the armorist’s summon equipment ability. The item gains the properties of the infinite armory’s choice, and those benefits last for 1 minute per class level. If the item is dismissed before this duration has elapsed, the infinite armory can draw that same item from the veil again without having to pay a spell point. Armaments affected by this ability count as summoned equipment for the purposes of arsenal tricks. If an arsenal trick allows the armorist to summon weapons and armor made from special materials, the infinite armory can choose to have an armament benefiting from this ability be treated as if it were made from one of those materials.
This replaces the armorist’s summon equipment class feature.
Bound Armaments: At 1st level, the infinite armory enhances their Armory of the Infinite with the effects of their bound equipment, rather than summoning them. When the infinite armory creates a piece of bound equipment, those enhancements are instead applied to their Armory of the Infinite. When they apply those enhancements to a piece of equipment summoned by the veil, it is treated as a piece of bound equipment and counts as an item summoned using the armorist’s summon equipment ability. The infinite armory may have a number of enhancements equal to the number of pieces of bound equipment equal to that of a normal armorist, and replacing one of these enhancements takes the same amount of time as an armorist replacing their bound equipment. The infinite armory can also apply implement enhancements to their veil, and may apply them to a piece of equipment drawn from the veil in place of that equipment’s normal type of enhancement bonuses.
When the infinite armory gains the ability to bind their Armory of the Infinite to their Shoulders slot, items affected by this ability cannot be wielded by other creatures. If items benefitting from the enhancements of a piece of bound equipment leave the infinite armorist’s person they immediately disappear back into the veil.
This modifies the armorist’s bound equipment class feature.
Untold Capacity: At 5th level, and again at 10th, 15th, and 20th level, the infinite armory treats the essence capacity of their Armory of the Infinite veil as if it were 1 higher. This does not stack with the Capacity Increase talent, or the improved essence capacity class feature.
Binding the Infinite: At 10th level, the infinite armory treats their Armory of the Infinite as if it were bound to their Shoulders chakra.
Boosted Enhancement: At 10th level, whenever the infinite armory draws a piece of enhanced equipment from their Armory of the Infinite they can choose to spend 1 spell point to increase its enhancement bonus by half the bonus they may grant using their summoned armaments ability. This has the same duration as the summoned armaments ability, and allows the boosted equipment to be redrawn if it is dismissed or dropped before the duration has expired. Armaments affected by this ability count as summoned equipment for the purposes of arsenal tricks.
This replaces the armorist’s boost equipment class feature.
Master Binding: At 15th level, the infinite armory treats their Armory of the Infinite as if it were bound to their Body chakra. When using the special ability of the Armory of the Infinite’s Body bind, the infinite armory may spend 1 spell point to apply the effects of their boosted enhancement ability to each attack they make, though in this case the duration is only for those attacks. The infinite armory cannot use any summoned or boosted armaments that are being wielded by a creature other than themselves for these attacks.
This replaces the armorist’s quick summons class feature.
Master of the Infinite: At 20th level, the infinite armory no longer needs to spend spell points to use their summoned armaments ability. Each time they draw forth an armament, they may choose to grant it the benefits of that ability and those armaments maintain their enhancement bonus until they are dismissed. Whenever the infinite armory draws forth an enhanced armament from their veil, they may choose to apply their boosted enhancement ability to it at no spell point cost as well.
This replaces the armorist’s infinite arsenal class feature.
New Arsenal Tricks
The following arsenal tricks are available to an infinite armory:
Imbued Armory
The infinite armory can add their casting ability modifier instead of their Strength or Dexterity modifier to attack rolls when making an attack with a weapon benefitting from the effects of their summoned armaments or boosted enhancement abilities.
Veilknight (Mageknight Archetype)
Armored With Akasha: At 1st level, the veilknight gains the Veilweaving sphere as a bonus magic talent and uses their class level as their caster level with the Veilweaving sphere. This stacks normally with caster levels gained from other sources. If they already have the Veilweaving sphere, they may select a Veilweaving talent of their choice instead.
This replaces the mageknight’s bonus magic talent gained at 1st level and the resist magic class feature.
Chakra Binds: At 2nd level, and every 4 levels thereafter, the veilknight gains the ability to bind veils directly to their chakra, unlocking potent abilities. They gain the ability to bind veils to their chakra in the following order: Hands, Wrists, Shoulders, Belt, Neck, Chest.
This replaces the mageknight’s mystic combats gained at 2nd, 10th, and 18th levels.
Knight’s Reallocation (Su): At 2nd level, whenever the veilknight spends a swift or immediate action to use a mageknight class feature or ability, they may invest or reallocate their essence as part of using that ability. They can choose whether you reinvest your essence before or after the ability resolves.
Veilmarked (Su): At 7th level, a veilknight who successfully deals damage to a target using a manufactured or natural weapon granted by a veil or deals damage with the ability of a veil used as a standard action that only targets a single creature, they may leave a magical mark upon that creature as a swift action. The target suffers a -2 penalty to saving throws against the spells, spell-like abilities, sphere abilities, and veils of the veilknight, and the veilknight gains a +2 bonus to saving throws against the spells, spell-like abilities, sphere abilities, and veils of the target. This mark lasts for 1 minute. The veilknight may not have more than 1 mark active at a time; giving a second mark causes the first to be dismissed.
This modifies the mageknight’s marked class feature.
Veil Critical (Su): At 19th level, whenever the veilknight successfully confirms a critical hit, they may use an ability of one of their veils that would normally require a standard or move action as an immediate action. This ability must include the target of the attack as one of its targets, or include that target in its area of effect. The ability of the veil does not provoke attacks of opportunity when used in this way, even if it normally would.
This replaces the mageknight’s spell critical class feature.
