Important Development Update (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone,
I want to be honest with you about the release. In my last Patreon post, I said the update was getting close, and at the time I really believed that. But after working deeper on Chapter 1 v0.25, I realized there were more things to finish, connect, and fix than I first expected.
This update is not just a small content update. It is the foundation for the whole game going forward: sandbox navigation, character schedules, calendar logic, objectives, event systems, location progression, and making sure all these parts work together properly. Because of that, I don’t want to rush it.
I really hate sounding like one of those developers who keeps saying “soon” and then makes players wait, only to release 15 minutes of gameplay. That’s not what I want for Aetherwyn Manor. I’ve been playing Ren’Py games for years, and I know how disappointing that feels as a player.
My goal is not just to release something fast. My goal is to release something that feels solid, playable, and worth your support.
So Chapter 1 v0.25 will need more time and will most likely come later next month. I’m sorry for the delay, but I truly believe this is the better choice for the game. I’m still working hard every day, fixing bugs, improving systems, and adding the scenes/events that will make this update feel like a real step forward from the prologue.
Thank you for your patience and support. I don’t take it for granted, and I’ll do my best to make the wait worth it.
