Hello hello! I just wrapped up editing on my latest video, one that I've been wanting to make for a while now.

It's about a topic that's become very near and dear to me - the mental wellbeing of live touring pros. And I was lucky enough to sit down with two remarkable people from The Roadie Clinic, a nonprofit that provides roadies with healthcare resources.

As always, this video is up now on here and over on Nebula, and it'll be out on YouTube tomorrow. Hope you enjoy it!

Great video - really seamless transition into the interviews!

This is a very cool video. It takes a lot of people to tour and those people need to be taken care of so the tours can keep happening. I'm glad people are trying to take care of them.

This is great! Such important stuff. Can’t wait to share it tomorrow. (Also: Niles, Michigan mentioned! Nice! I live pretty close to there and had no idea this was happening!)

very wonderful and well written look at the touring industry from the inside of it, the roadie clinic seem like a wonderful little industry and I had never known how intense COVID had affected the music scene as I thought it had

Absolutely fantastic title for such a necessary video! Really made me think about how privileged I am to be working a job that's the polar opposite of this, despite how draining it is most days. My brother's bands occasionally do mini tours of the PNW so I'll definitely be sending him some of these links. Speaking of, I think gender plays a major role in this too--seeing as the roadie industry mainly attracts men, I feel like it's even more crucial that they have a safe way to get the physical and mental health care they need before it's too late. Hope you're doing well and enjoying that cat time! I may be biased but they really are the best pets ☺️

As someone who has organised a concert and have friends that have done the same and even festivals and bands and artists, I think this video is highly needed, the day after my first gig, I was bed ridden in pain from running up and down a famous venue in Glasgow from 9am-midnight with just about no breaks and also a few hundred pounds poorer but that’s just because of my mess ups from putting on a show for the first time with no prior experience or knowledge. Care for live music workers needs to be prioritised at all costs
