Hey hey everybody everybody - hope you've been having a excellent Monday. I'm doing things a lil differently than usual. Instead of the typical Friday release, you're getting the next main channel video today! We'll see if the S&P 500 reacts well to this change.

This one's about in-ear monitors, their importance in concerts, and how they've changed concerts in fascinating ways. I also got to interview former Ultimate Ears exec and the head of the In-Ear Monitor Trade Organization, Mike Dias. He's working on a documentary about in-ears, which you can learn about here: https://www.canigetalittlemoreme.com/

As usual, this video is out now on here and Nebula, and it'll be out tomorrow on YT. Hope you enjoy!!

Mic ily but between you and my other two favorite creators, I'm going to end up failing my final semester of grad school hahahaha. Absolutely worth it though and I can't wait to watch this when I get home!

Mike mentioned "the headphone revolution" several times. I can kind of guess what he's talking about, but I'd love to see a video going into more depth on it.

Fantastic, fantastic video. I loved that little trip down to Esoteric Ave., it's one of my favorite places to go. I haven't been to a show in about 6 months and this makes me even more excited for the two I'm seeing in November. I've always been curious about the behind-the-scenes of concerts, and this was a great insight into that. That deep connection that music gives is something that can't be recreated. Thank you, Mic & Mike!

Ok I'm back and what a cool video! This helps me understand a bit better what my brother does when he goes onstage and does his thing. Your ex boss seems like such a great guy, it's wonderful to know there's so many good people in the background of the music industry. I will say, I do love that feeling when I'm listening to music on my headphones and the entire world falls away, but it pales in comparison to feeling connected to every single person in a 20,000-strong crowd who are all experiencing the same exhilarating moment as you. I think that's the closest this world comes to creating actual magic. I feel like there's a nugget in there for my next novel so thank you for providing that extra spark! (Also, I don't know what editing/lighting tricks you used, but your eyes are looking especially oceany here and...damn. It's a great look if you're wondering 😊)
