Bakufu (Patreon)

I really put myself into a corner when I had to write a backstory for a Hisuian Typhlosion, but I'm pretty satisfied with it. I sure as hell couldn't reasonably think of any lore where Maxx went to hundreds of years into the past to Hisui.

Typhlosion is cool, but being one of the older Pokémon in the franchise, it doesn't have a lot going for it. But the Hisuian form has a chill vibe that I've used for Bakufu's personality.

I don't have a lot of plans for Bakufu right now, but I like having him around to just put in a scene. If he gets some attention, I want to lean into his traditional values and down-to-earth personality.
