And that was chapter 2! To think I had originally hoped to finish this in August last year...But slow is also a speed, I suppose. As long as the story keep going, we'll get there eventually.

Which is why it's a little unfortunate that I have to announce that the comic is going on hiatus for a while. I have some work to do that I just can't put off anymore and sadly I can't combine it with making comic pages. I don't know yet how long it will take so from February onward I will pause my Patreon page. While I don't upload, I will not charge. 

I will make a post when the comic returns. Currently aiming for April but I can't promise anything as of yet. Bonus content will continue until the end of the month. I won't be doing an octopus challenge for chapter 2.2 because... Yeah there just isn't time right now.

I included a pdf of chapter 2.2 in full. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts on this chapter before we go into the break!

Heck It's truly my luck to re-join your patreon just to find out there will be a hiatus ;__; Anyway, I caught up with pages and I can certainly say: Take your time! The story looks beautiful, sad yet heartwarming at the same time. Also Pretzel is a national treasure, that's it.

I think this chapter has definitely established Kyle as someone who is quite the moral beacon in this story with how he's willing to go out of his way to help others in need. But this last part at the end also hints that all is not right with his life, and I'm quite curious to see how we go from where he is now to being the Skyvern riding lad that we see in your artwork. Story wise, I can't really say much because it does seem that the main plot points haven't really kicked in yet this early into Dragonstar, but the bonus artworks and lore bits that have been shared outside of these chapters does indicate that you've put quite a bit of thought into the worldbuilding, so I'm hopeful we get to see more of it incorporated into the main story some day! All the best for your break! Its unfortunate, but understandable. Hope u manage to sort out whatever it is u need to do IRL by the time u come back! :)

Although it's sad that the comic is going on hiatus, LIFE COMES FIRST! Please take your time to sort things out IRL before trying to finish the comic series up. 😃 As for chapter 2.2: I absolutely love it! I love this type of story telling. I love that you are taking the time to develop what Kyle's character is like along with some world building thrown in. I always enjoy it when writers take the time to build the world and the characters within it without just giving out instant gratification with 2 dimensional characters a sloppily put together world. I also always love your art style as well. It's definitely my favorite type of art style too.
