I like this album, but I want smoke from the villagers who didn’t vote liquid swords

Zyshawn Moore

I’m looking forward to listening to this album again with the guys, but I’m with you liquid swords, my favorite album probably ever.

Jean-Marc

Jay def got Em on that second verse his shit was TOO REAL, anyone who’s had to step up for their siblings/family and had to mature quick felt that in their soul

Yaolvin Cambridge

Ya’ll should listen to the Nas Stillmatic freestyle

Isak

Listen to “8 miles and runnin” if you wanna hear jay on another em beat

P-Money

Love Liquid Swords and the rest of the Wu debuts. Unfortunately they're never as mainstream as the other options so get buried in the votes. Don't see that changing unless we get a Wu only poll!

Squish Wright

We all need to stand up, and demand Wu poll, my fellow villagers we need to stand up

Donovan

WE HERE!!

James Edwards

On the intro ya'll caught the references to Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, and Pharrel, but the "gotta drop a mill" - is a reference to a Roc-A-Fella artist named "Amil" who they dropped from the label. My Hov album rankings: 1. Reasonable Doubt 2. American Gangster 3. Blueprint 4. Vol 2 5. Black Album he has more classics beyond that but that's the top 5 for me.

No one ever talks about Jay Z’s diss song Super Ugly, that he made about Nas it was very disrespectful! I think Jay Z mom made him apologize after releasing it

babo

jay verse hits different tho like if we going of technical skill em went crazy but i dont FEEL that verse how i FEEL what jay is saying its just different to me

babo

jay DEFINITELY got him on the second verse technically aswell lowe me

Never listened to this album..only heard of renegade wich is a classic and oh boy it did not fit this album at all... honestly I did not liked anything of what I heard from this album at the level that I may come back to it...maybe because I never was a big Jay z fan...for me in present day this album did liver to the status that it has...I voted for the game documentary when the poll was up and now I'm more convinced that this is over appreciated compared to that..

2026-09-10 04:00 Liquid Swords wouldve been such a much better choice since ya’ll definitely havent listened to it like you have with Blueprint, and the songs are actually sonically good. Hope ya’ll just decide to react to it since itll take minute for everyone to vote for it, and It washes anything else on the list lol

Jakob Blom

Appreciate yall for this one🤝 and all the others Bro I'm in the middle of moving to a new place and caught up in several days of cleaning up🤣 These reactions really is good company while doing all the mundane tasks. Much love for that🫡

In regards to looking back now at who won the beef you have to consider how it all went down at the time. Theres more to who wins or loses than the songs. Theres like strategy and timing etc. Which is why looking back it seems it should be closer than it was seen at the time. This is fun btw. Haven't listened to this album in agesssss.

Brandon Sartor

I agree with yall on the Renegade take lol. Definitely a tie or Jay edged it with that second verse. If y’all ever get time, we definitely gotta get a Reasonable Doubt reaction 🤣

Jay Ellis

Mad late on this but did y'all not know about the two tracks at the end of the intro?
