We here 💪🏽 I also agree, Roc's production style is so good and he excels over his own production and that's what he's praised for and also why people call him the pioneer of the new underground sound. Short fire project, wish it was longer. Can't wait for that Marcberg 🙏🏾

Abdi

Where is jackboys 2?

FigLeaf Bicarbonate

He went crazy on that production. And his verse was crazy too

Execution Style is such a gorgeous track. The sad part is this sounds like Ka could have fit nicely over this with him . The grown folk fullness of the baseline that halts abruptly for a sec before resuming . Premier's elegant choice for a snare is so understated yet vibey. What was that ? For as smooth and unbothered as Roc's rhyming is, the injection of young Raekwon's ruckus is a 🔥 touch . As a Roc fan, this was a another example of why Roc being a genre unto himself lyrically. As a Premier fan, while I lost the last two beats , the rest of the instrumentals are passable but outside of his signature scratched vocals, these beats make me nervous for what type of folder he sent to Nas

Chance is back btw if yall had hesitations on that project

Been waiting on this reaction. Appreciate yall for getting to it. Roc has other tracks like Glory Hole where he flows faster on a skippy drum pattern, so it’s not completely completely out of left field for him. My favorite examples are “Congo” and “Covid Cough ft. Schoolboy Q.” U guys could check it out for a vibesesh. I always appreciate when he does something different from his usual cold luxurious raps. It sounds like more of a lyrical exercise for him. I saw him perform “Congo” once and that shit was definitely a workout lol.

Golden rules has me in a choke hold rn lol

Looking forward to checking that one out today!
