World Watercolor Month - next month (Patreon)
Content
Hi everyone,
July is World Watercolor Month!
I'm pleased to announce that I've been asked by Charlie O’Shields to be an artist ambassador for this wonderful event.
World Watercolor Month is a time to inspire people to paint with watercolour while raising awareness about the importance of art and creativity in the world. Whether you're a master watercolourist or just starting out, everyone is welcome to join the celebration!
To participate, all you have to do is tag any art that uses watercolours (or gouache) with #WorldWatercolorMonth when you post on social media during July. You can take on the ultimate challenge of creating 31 watercolours in 31 days, or just post whenever you can. The goal is to maintain a regular art practice and, most importantly, have fun!
By participating, you'll also help raise awareness for art education and support creativity in children worldwide through the International Child Art Foundation. You can learn more about the foundation here.
Additionally, there's a shop where you can purchase mugs, pouches, and other items featuring artwork from artists around the globe, including my own. 100% of the profits go to the International Child Art Foundation.
I always emphasize the importance of painting every day if you can.

Improving your skills can be a fun and fulfilling process. You don't need to create a masterpiece every day - just pick up your brushes and paint something in your journal. It could be anything: a leaf, a peg, a petal! That's exactly what I'm planning to do.
One of my patrons sent me this beautiful handmade journal for my birthday today, and I plan to use it for my daily paintings. Thank you Kimberly ❤️.
I'm challenging myself to paint something every day. I might not be able to paint every Sunday, as that's the day we look after Logan, but I'll give it my best shot on the other days. Who's with me? I hope you'll join me too!
