Yes of course Jan. Permanent Alizarin Crimson is similar but use whatever you have.

Thank you Patrizia! I've listed substitute colours on the supplies list in both Daniel Smith and Winsor & Newton.......W&N - Permanent Rose and DS - Quinacridone Rose. Otherwise use a cool red that you have.
