Hi everyone,

Hope you had fun with the frog challenge last month! Wow, the frogs I saw that you painted are so beautiful! 🐸 I loved seeing all the different approaches you took.

For September, I have a fresh bunch of grapes for you 🍇.

As always, this is a challenge, so there’s no tutorial, just the reference photo and line drawing for you to download. Play with colour mixes, test out layering, or experiment with your brushstrokes. There’s no right or wrong, it’s all about practising and building confidence.

The photo this month is one I took myself, so you’ve got lots of natural light, strong contrast, and beautiful red-purple tones to work with. Be as free and loose or as tight and detailed as you like.

Louise , I watched you do these grapes but couldn’t do them one of the things I try to is grapes I can’t seem to get it right when the challenge is over could you do a tutorial again so I can get it right ? Thank you in advance

Hi Nancy, there is no tutorial - this is a challenge for those who want to try.
