Hi everyone,

A little bonus for this month!

I’ve made this goose tutorial available as a free class on my website to welcome new painters into the community, and I wanted to share it here with you as well.

You’ll find everything here as usual, including the progress photos and reference material. I hope you enjoy painting this one with me. It’s an exercise in soft washes and restraint.

The files you need to complete the painting are attached below my message here. You can download them individually or all at once by clicking on the "Download all" button.

Have fun!

Louise

I love this. Painted two. On the first one, I think I didn't do a good job on feet, eyes, etc. So I painted second, and I think the heads and eyes are better and . Sooo, I'm giving one to one of my daughters, and the the second one I'm keeping. I know that you mentioned that they are not to be sold for profit, but I can't remember the details. I am just giving away.

Louise De Masi

That's great Nancy! I'm glad you persisted with it. That's the best way to improve.

Hi Louise, I have just discovered you and joined your Patreon. I thoroughly enjoyed painting these lovely geese over a couple of days and am thrilled with the result 🤩! Your teaching technique is so thorough and understandable - you have rejuvenated my motivation and can’t wait to do the Cala lilies next. Big thanks 🙏
