My tutorials are designed to help you on your creative journey. Any painting you create from a tutorial where I use my own reference photo is for personal use only. They can't be sold or entered into an art competition. I write on the Supplies Lists where the photos come from. Permission is not given to paint any of my earlier paintings that are not tutorials because some of them are licensed. Also, a few of my earlier paintings were painted from photographs where I sought the permission of the photographer. The photographer gave me permission to use it, not others.

If I do a tutorial where I use another photographer's photo (eg from Pixabay or Unsplash) that is available for anyone throughout the world to download (copyright free) and use I’m happy for you to sell the paintings you create from the tutorial.

If I do a tutorial and I use a photo that I have paid for and downloaded from the website Wildlife Reference Photos in order for you to sell the painting you create from the tutorial you need to purchase and download the photograph yourself. This is in accordance with the Terms and Services of the Wildlife Reference Photo website.

If you share a finished painting on social media I would really appreciate it if you could link back to my account (be it on Facebook, YouTube or Instagram) and mention that you painted it in one of my tutorials. @louisedemasi

Thank you!

I have been trying to paint a Siberian husky for three years now. I cant seem to do it. It’s my brother’s dog who passed away. Wish I could send some pictures. Maybe you have some ideas or suggestions. This dog you just painted is beautiful!

Gayle Reichelt

This is outstanding. It is a bit advanced for me to attempt yet, but I will have an attempt soon. Thank you for your amazing tutorials.

Finished watching part 2 - very entertaining! I'll have to try the mirror trick, hadn't heard about that one before. Your Sheltie looks ready to run after some sheep now! Thanks for all of your hard work on this one (and all of the others). 💜💛💚

Una Baralo

study finished (I never did a practice one before). -it’s was a really good idea to do so. Wondering if down the road I try a Irish brown border collie what would make a interesting brown-like you made your interesting black . Thank you for teaching us and bring us joy and confidence ☘️🐕

Louise De Masi

My pleasure Una. Thank you! In my horse tutorial I mix some brown so that will be a good one to watch.

Una Baralo

A horse. Brilliant 😃. Excited

Christine Ellis

Gosh, this was difficult, but I'm looking forward to having another go when my Perylene Violet arrives. Maybe then I'll get black instead of blue or purple!

Wonderful Louise - have at last been able to watch both parts with rests intermittently. When I paint I sometimes almost hold my breath - forget to breathe! I found myself doing so watching you as you hit some tricky bits! All was well that ended well and I hope to attempt this soon - for a dear friend. Fingers crossed! Thanks so much - hoping to do the rose - and lily soon . . so much to do, so little time!

Louise De Masi

Thanks Nettie. I do that too - hold my breath. Good luck with it. 💕
