Love the new app Louise but can we have more information about the discord. How to go about getting on to it. Thank you

Yvonne Walton

I’ve just watch the tutorial and I love it can’t wait to give it a try.

Lindsay Mitchell

Thank you for this excellent exercise Louise. Although I am not a beginner in watercolor painting this was a wonderful review for me in using wet on wet and color mixing on paper. I always find ways to improve my skills in your tutorial’s.

JoAnn Clement

Louise, you have a way of making the ordinary extraordiar

JoAnn Clement

extra-ordinary!!!!!! absolutely beautiful!!! simple and complete!! you are an awesome teacher!!!

Andrea Paulis

I agree with JoAnn, you are an awesome teacher! This tutorial is perfect for me, it covers so much of what I am trying to learn, and is not beyond my ability to attempt. Thank you once again!

Louise De Masi

Hi Yvonne. You can connect Patreon to Discord in your settings. I can't post links here but check your initial message from me which includes the link to how to do it. (messages are on the left hand side bar here in Patreon. Let me know how you go.

Magdalena

Thank you very much Louise! I tried the mushroom yesterday. The mushroom itself came out more or less okay (I'm a beginner), but I was struggling with the background. Looks now like a forest fire (and the mushroom the only survivor). In case I want to paint one if future I know now what to do. ;-)))) Really enjoyed ist! :-)

Marlena Bartolome

I am unable to maximize the video. Is this an issue that is going to be fixed?

Marlena Bartolome

Thank you anyway. I realized it was a change to the app. I can watch it in full screen if I use my browser instead of the app.

Capa Jensen

I am screaming at your description of the forest fire -- at least the mushroom survived; I'm sure it's beautiful!!! I struggle with backgrounds a LOT, so I'm hoping to get better. May your fires always be bright <3

Marilyn RUSH

Magdalena, I love your sense of humor! I'm sure it's not nearly as bad as you think. If anyone says anything just say you tried something new and you're you're taking some time to think it over before you decide if you want to go that direction.

Magdalena

Thank you for your warm words! :-) I will keep on trying ;-)

Magdalena

Thanks so much.. you made my day! :-))

Toni South

Magdelena you just don't know how much I needed a good laugh today. That is priceless!!

Carolyn Zamora

Thanks Louise. That is a lovely little painting. Off to the store for some fresh masking fluid!

Stephany Berton

Thanks so much for this great mushroom tutorial! Mushrooms are a favorite to paint (not to eat ) I'm just getting ready to paint and hope it turns out half as good as yours and the others who have posted on Facebook.

Shelly Anderson

Louise you are so wonderful to watch and listen to. Your teaching technique makes me feel that I can do what you do. I am beyond excited that I found you! Thank you, Shelly Anderson in TN

Debra

Another great tutorial! I fell in love with the photo though and ended up creating a more realistic mushroom and pine needles. Lots of fun! Thank you!

Louise De Masi

Fabulous! Thank you Debra. I'm glad you had fun with it.

Monalisa Mackey

Hi Louise, I love the colour palette for this painting. It looks so beautiful😃🙌🏻💕 Amazing result!

Elizabeth J. Cullina

Wanted to ask if you can suggest a color substitute for raw sienna. Thanks!

Louise De Masi

Hi Elizabeth, You could try Yellow Ochre or even Raw Umber. Do you have any other earthy yellows? If not you could try mixing Burnt Sienna into a yellow that you have.

I love this description! I can only picture it in my mind’s eye, but I really enjoy the thought of it. 🌇 I love (and dislike sometimes!) how watercolor paintings turn out differently each time. Happy painting! 👩🏻‍🎨❤️

UrbanFox

I’m so excited to try this! I’ve been watching your YT videos for a couple of years now and your instruction is so clear. It’s helped me as a watercolorist more than I could’ve ever done on my own! Thank you, Louise! ❤️

Another entry in my spiral booklet dedicated to the watercolor month projects. In addition to learning the painting techniques, I love your choice of colors, two warm and cool pairs and how you add interests to simple subjects. Thank you Louise.
